Phone Call Help

I need some advice on this, it is driving me crazy. I met this girl at work last year. She is 22 I am 28. She had a serious boyfriend but she told me she liked me and I liked her. Well we would spend time together going out and eating lunch. She invited me over to her house. Well she quit work and told me she would come in and see me. well a month later she calls me and wants me to come over and gives me her phone number again and tells me to call her sometimes. So I never called for a little over 2 months then I decided to call her. When she answered she seemed happy to hear from me and we talked for about 10 minutes the whole time she seemed happy to talk to me. Well all of a sudden she pretended like she got another call "I am 100000 percent sure she didn't get another call" she told me to call back in 15 minutes which I did and she would not answer the phone. It has been over a week and she has not called me back either. So my question is why would she do this? I mean seem happy to talk to me then pull this? I could understand maybe she didn't want to talk to me but why didn't she say she was busy and get right off the phone instead of talking to me for 10 minutes then deciding? It's almost like she wanted to talk to me but then decided she didn't/ Somebody please shed some light on this for me. THANKS

I think the real question here is why didnt you call her before you had let 2 months pass?

If someone didnt call me for 2 months, and then called me I doubt I would give them the

time of day.

I agree with Yogi....a two month 'wait' is quite a long time to keep someone hanging. Next time you find yourself in such a situation.....maybe you will remember to call in a more timely manner. Then again....I guess she could've called you instead....if she was really interested. Who knows???
