In fact, it already is out of control. Everything is a mess, and I'm so overwhelmed with it all that I don't even know where to begin, or how to begin fixing it. This is all compounded by the fact that I have no idea what I want, and I have no direction in life. That quote from Alice in Wonderland? The one where the Chesire cat responds to Alice's question: Would you tell me please which way I ought to go from here? He says, It depends a good deal on where you want to get to. Alice says I don't much care where, so the cat tells her "Then it doesn't matter which way you go." "--so long as I get SOMEWHERE," Alice added as an explanation. "Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough." That's me. Oh, and: "Only a few find the way, some don't recognise it when they do, some don't ever want to."
