Meaplus3
For those who practice yoga, has anyone ever felt sore and kind of worse the day after? I ask this becuase I took a little more advanced class yesterday and while I was trying real hard to move like gumby.. I just could not do some of the moves, because it was a big ouchie. I did not give up though and stuck it out. My self goal here is to master the moves that will help me with the upperback issues I've been having. But, now my back feels worse? Does that sound normal?? Also, I felt like some of my muscles were shaking.. WTF? lol Mea:)
angie2443
Does your instructor do a good warm up before the yoga exercises? I think you need a good 10 minutes to warm up the body before doing the actual excerises. Otherwise, you could hurt yourself.

And she went from one move to the next rather quick. It felt like I was in a game of twister. Sounds like you pushed yourself a little to hard. Probably. Mea:)
whichwayisup
Yup it's normal. You overworked yourself and that's why you had the shakes afterwards.. Do what you can in class, don't push yourself if you can't do certain positions..

It will be a while before I'm standing on my head. Mea;)
