Phateless
Not really sure what to do here. My car is getting worn out and I've always wished I could get my old car back from my ex. Now I can! Great deal, great shape, all maintenance done, new tires, but my current gf would just be weirded out by it. The alternative is to keep my current car until I can afford to buy something newer and nicer. Problem is that I'm in school and working full time and REALLY don't want to finance anything right now. This car I could buy cash. The reason I don't buy a different car similar to my ex's is that I know the history on this car. With any other used car it's a total gamble. Oy vey.... Thoughts? Rylle
It's a car. What difference does it make?
Trialbyfire
Please tell your current g/f that life's too short to worry about trivial shyte and unless she's willing to buck up for the difference in cost, for you to get the same deal elsewhere, she's going to have to put up with a little "discomfort". The two of you are such polar opposites. You tend to look at things in a pragmatic and logical fashion. I think sometimes, you can be a little insensitive to emotional need. She's all about emotions, with little to no practicality or logical progression to her thoughts. A little bat shyte crazy!
Author Phateless
lol, thanks TBF! Well I decided not to buy it. Drove it again and remembered why sold it to her in the first place. It's an Accord coupe, so it drives nice, but the steering is over-assisted, the suspension is soft, and the car is a bit heavy. Compared to my little go-kart integra, the Accord is just no fun to drive. I'll just put a little cash and elbow grease into the 'teg and keep it. The integra just fits my lifestyle much better than the Accord coupe anyway. Too bad, cuz the Accord is SUPER clean for under $2k.
