a friend in need

I'm having trouble wit a friend (recent ex):

She's now dating someone 5 years older than her; she's 16 and he's 21. Everytime I talk to her, she's always depressed... Since I'm good at helping relationships, I've been talkin' to her about it. She doesn't even know if they are dating or whatever... and from what she's been tellin' me, he takes so much advantage of her... in other words, she doesn't think that he loves her but I'm guessing she tries to make it better by getting him 'whatever' he wants... I have given her the best advice but it seems to go in one ear and straight out the other... she wants to have a relationship wit him, but all he wants is sex and she, for some reason, follows along wit it. She admits she's "weak" but that might be an excuse... Any advice where I could help her out? thanks

So what are you looking for out of this. How can you possibly give this lady unbiased advice if the two of you recently broke up??? Hey, the two of you aren't together anymore. Use your energy to go find somebody who will be good for you and leave your ex to get her romance advice from other friends or from an Internet romance forum like this one. She's only keeping you around to use you and she will hurt you as well. She probably can't believe why you are sticking around...and I can't either.

Let her work out her own problems. Be gone and out of her life. You already dated her and now her love problems are hers fully to deal with. Life gives us enough baggage to deal with without taking on that of other people who leave us behind.

We are close, only friend close. I'm not around to get her back, I'm around to help her out... like I promised I would when we were dating. I've jus tried everything to help her out, and I couldn't ignore her out of nowhere. I would jus like some advice from people who were in the same situation as me.
