howcouldInotknow
I was engaged to a separated man (i know, I know) we dated for over a year. His wife cooperated with the divorce process up until she found out we were engaged. She then begain contesting the divorce settlement demanding more money a car she couldn't afford and then eventually telling him she wanted him back and he owes it to her to work on their marriage because of their history together. They were together for 5 years married for less than 2. So we split. He says he thinks reconciliation with her is a huge mistake. Realistically can they fix this?

If he doesn't think it's going to work then it won't, he isn't putting 100% into it. Anything is possible. I have cousins that married, got divorced and married again 3 years later. A guy in my men's group at church got divorced and then remarried a year later so anything can happen, it just depends on if the two people are willing to work on it, get the help they need.....
