Why porn is great

I want to hear some POSITIVE reasons why porn is good. I have a few but the best one I have to offer is that its a convenient outlet for pleasure when your other ones cannot be obtained/reached at the time being (wife/gf out of town, out with friends, etc..)

 

I'm interested in what other people have to add to the list

Porn is good for getting new ideas on sexual positions and/or roleplaying. Oh yeah and if you're in a long distance relationship or won't see your SO for a long time, then it's good. Other than that, I say it's useless.

I watch porn almost every day. I can't really help it. I have to watch it in order to fall asleep. It helps me feel relaxed and stress-free, at least for a couple of hours.

Porn is awesome. It is like having a love parade in your house.

More to the point, it is beneficial to relationships since it is a convenient and harmless outlet for fantazies of banging other chicks. (Once you rub one out, all of a sudden it doesn't sound like such a great idea , so a lot of energy and second guessing saved.)

I can see how porn could be a problem in relationships where the woman is actually hideous, but most average women who keep in shape have nothing to worry about. Only select few idiots would prioritize porn over their cute girlfriend , and those don't belong in relationships to begin with, so it's all good.

The most significant reason is the obvious:

 

Without some actual sense of what others look like au naturel, almost everyone would be far less capable, and far less inspired to really marvel over the various uniquenesses represented by one's naked partner.

 

(without porn around, men would even be more quick to go right for the sex organs of their partners, as they wouldn't notice unique shoulder blades, interesting navels, the unique curve of a woman's hip, her muscular thighs, etc.)

Can you imagine the very real scenario of a woman who might have known just two male sex partners in her life? This not-so-fictional woman randomly found one who was circumcised, and her second partner was uncircumcised. That is all she knows! Those two extreme differences, and she doesn't have much in the way of a working point of reference.

 

(so she spontaneously blurts: "Ewwwwwwwww, what's thaaaaaat?" when in the throes of an otherwise romantic encounter with just her second partner)

 

(I think we can sorta figure some of the breasts part without porn, although porn turns dozens of unique varieties of breasts into thousands or millions)

 

The mere look and intricate nature of womens' breasts makes every one of them look much more appealing to those who can better appreciate their vast uniqueness.

Also very true. If it wasn't for porn, where would you get the idea that it's okay to take time and explore and lick every inch of skin . In the absence of porn, we'd still be stuck in the wham-bam-thank-you-maam era:eek:. I'm not sayin' that the actual acts in porn are particularly instructive lately, but at least it allows for stress free exploration in the privacy of your armchair , plus sometimes it is nice to disconnect sex from the person, but that's another discussion.

2) Readily available and always willing (unlike IRL)

4) It's a much safer replacement for single guys instead of visiting hookers (which was much more prevalent when porn wasn't as readily available)

True story. My hooker usage would have been much higher in my single times without porn. With porn you're like "Meh, why bother and what's the big deal anyway" .
