Pedigree
How do you make up for it? I've read fitness books where the writers say "If you're serious, you'll make the time to train". But if you just had a day where you spent it buying a present for your friend's birthday, get a costume for the said friend's costume birthday party, and if you have assignments to do, you genuinely don't have the time to do exercise. Simply put, how do you make up for it? Do you watch what you eat for the day, do you take the long way home, etc. what do you do? I'll start. For today, the place where I got the costume was 20 minutes walking distance (medium pace) from the train station closest to it. So I walked back and forth twice and broke some sweat along the way. Occasionally there are days but most of the time there is time, wake up a bit earlier, during lunch, ect
Ruby Slippers
"No time" is a lame excuse. Even the president has time to exercise. You put it on your calendar like any other appointment, and you don't let anything intrude on that time. I schedule my exercise dates every week, and I only break them if there's a true emergency or I'm really sick (extremely rare).
sb129
You get up half an hour earlier, or you get off the bus 3-4 stops earlier and walk the rest of the way to work, or you walk to the shops instead of driving to do some of your shopping. Realistically speaking, you only need 30mins (minimum) of moderate activity a day to make a difference, 30mins is not that much time- most people kill far more time than that surfing the internet every day!
