Do I let my boyfriend know I know he lied to me?

Just curious how to tell your boyfriend of 10 months that you know he lied to you over the weekend.

Details:

He went to his family's over thanksgiving...said he'd be back early saturday afternoon, so we could spend our anniversary together.

He called around noonish on Saturday to let me know that he and his sister were taking his brother back home...what would have been total driving time...over 14 hours to and from.

Meaning he shouldn't of even hit our town until way after midnight.

He shows up at my house at 1 am...you're thinking, mathmatically, hours add up. Not really.

On my way home from the store, I happened to glace at his drive way...his car was there...this was at 7 pm that night. (his house is on my main street to my house, we live 5 blocks away from one another)

He proceeded to call several times that night to let me know where he "was" and how long it was going to take him..

I know he was home, he doesn't. Do I even bring it up, or just let him slide and give him a get out of jail free card.

Thanks!

Justa

Definetly let him know you are aware he lied. If he's lying to you about a trip home, what else could he be lying about? How do you know if he wasn't alone?

Honesty is and always will be the best policy!!!

You really ought to tell him you know he was lying. There is no point in pretending you don't know. It shouldn't be a big deal to simply ask him why he was doing that if he has nothing to hide.

Take Guidette82's advice, like her I wish I had listen to someone tell me that along time ago. My relationship was 4 1/2 yrs, we now have a 2 yr old son. After 4 1/2 yrs of never believeing he would hurt me like that and believeing his lies because I didn't want to see the truth, so I just denied it, I finally said goodbye.

Don't keep your mouth shut Idid and from there I continued to because I didn't want the relationship to end. Well it has and after alot of heartache.

good luck ;)
