The one who cares the least has the most power....isn't that what they say on here?

"Better Off Alone"

One thing I'm wonderin'

When you run out of friends

Will you be coming back home?

Let's think this through again

Let's take a different spin

Why can't I leave you alone?

Somewhere tonight, you may be found

With some other girl you've been draggin' around

You lie to yourself, and you lie to me

It seems like the truth is your worst enemy

Cause baby I'm tired, tired of the fight

I'm tired of the lonely days and the dark endless nights

It's taken some time, cause I didn't know

If I could ever let you go

You helped me figure it out

I'm better off alone

I'm better off alone

I may be found, somewhere tonight

Cursing the day you walked into my life

What's done is done, I can't change time

But I'll be damned if I'm not gonna try

Oh I'm gonna try

Baby I'm tired, tired of the fight

I'm tired of the lonely days and the dark endless nights

It's taken some time, cause I didn't know

If I could ever let you go

You helped me figure it out

I'm better off alone

But every now and then, my heart gives in

To the hope that someday you'll change

Then alone I'll wake, to my own mistakes

That it's just a foolish game

I'm tired, tired of the fight

I'm tired of the lonely lonely lonely days and the dark endless nights

You didn't think, cause you didn't know

That I'd find the strength to let, let you go

I finally figured it out

I'm better off alone

I'm better off alone

One thing before I go

Something I've got to know

Boy, did you ever love me?

"Set The Fire To The Third Bar" SNOW PATROL

(feat. Martha Wainwright)

I find the map and draw a straight line

Over rivers, farms, and state lines

The distance from 'A' to where you'd be

It's only finger-lengths that I see

I touch the place where I'd find your face

My finger in creases of distant dark places

I hang my coat up in the first bar

There is no peace that I've found so far

The laughter penetrates my silence

As drunken men find flaws in science

Their words mostly noises

Ghosts with just voices

Your words in my memory

Are like music to me

I'm miles from where you are,

I lay down on the cold ground

I, I pray that something picks me up

And sets me down in your warm arms

After I have travelled so far

We'd set the fire to the third bar

We'd share each other like an island

Until exhausted, close our eyelids

And dreaming, pick up from

The last place we left off

Your soft skin is weeping

A joy you can't keep in

I'm miles from where you are,

I lay down on the cold ground

And I, I pray that something picks me up

and sets me down in your warm arms

I'm miles from where you are,

I lay down on the cold ground

and I, I pray that something picks me up

and sets me down in your warm arms

"You're All I Have" SNOW PATROL

Strain this chaos turn it into light

I've got to see you one last night

Before the lions take their share

Leave us in pieces, scattered everywhere

Just give me a chance to hold on

Give me a chance to hold on

Give me a chance to hold on

Just give me something to hold onto

It's so clear now that you are all that I have

I have no fear cos you are all that I have

It's so clear now that you are all that I have

I have no fear cos you are all that I have

You're cinematic razor sharp

A welcome arrow through the heart

Under your skin feels like home

Electric shocks on aching bones

Give me a chance to hold on

Give me a chance to hold on

Give me a chance to hold on

Just give me something to hold onto

It's so clear now that you are all that I have

I have no fear cos you are all that I have

It's so clear now that you are all that I have

I have no fear cos you are all that I have

There is a darkness deep in you

A frightening magic I cling to

Give me a chance to hold on

Give me a chance to hold on

Give me a chance to hold on

Just give me something to hold onto

It's so clear now that you are all that I have

I have no fear now you are all that I have

It's so clear now that you are all that I have

I have no fear now you are all that I have

"Open Your Eyes" SNOW PATROL

All this feels strange and untrue

And I won't waste a minute without you

My bones ache, my skin feels cold

And I'm getting so tired and so old

The anger swells in my guts

And I won't feel these slices and cuts

I want so much to open your eyes

'Cause I need you to look into mine

Tell me that you'll open your eyes [x4]

Get up, get out, get away from these liars

'Cause they don't get your soul or your fire

Take my hand, knot your fingers through mine

And we'll walk from this dark room for the last time

Every minute from this minute now

We can do what we like anywhere

I want so much to open your eyes

'Cause I need you to look into mine

Tell me that you'll open your eyes [x8]

All this feels strange and untrue

And I won't waste a minute without you

"You Could Be Happy" SNOW PATROL

You could be happy and I won't know

But you weren't happy the day I watched you go

And all the things that I wished I had not said

Are played in loops 'till it's madness in my head

Is it too late to remind you how we were

But not our last days of silence, screaming, blur

Most of what I remember makes me sure

I should have stopped you from walking out the door

You could be happy, I hope you are

You made me happier than I'd been by far

Somehow everything I own smells of you

And for the tiniest moment it's all not true

Do the things that you always wanted to

Without me there to hold you back, don't think, just do

More than anything I want to see you, girl

Take a glorious bite out of the whole world

Life is Beautiful by Sixx:A.M.

You can’t quit until you try

You can’t live until you die

You can’t learn to tell the truth

Until you learn to lie

You can’t breathe until you choke

You gotta laugh when you’re the joke

There’s nothing like a funeral to make you feel alive

Just open your eyes

Just open your eyes

And see that life is beautiful.

Will you swear on your life,

That no one will cry at my funeral?

I know some things that you don’t

I’ve done things that you won’t

There’s nothing like a trailer park to find your way back home

I was waiting for my hearse

What came next was so much worse

It took a funeral to make me feel alive

Just open your eyes

Just open your eyes

And see that life is beautiful.

Will you swear on your life,

That no one will cry at my funeral?

Just open your eyes

Just open your eyes

And see that life is beautiful.

Will you swear on your life,

That no one will cry at my funeral?

Just open your eyes

Just open your eyes

And see that life is beautiful.

Will you swear on your life,

That no one will cry at my funeral?

Just open your eyes

Just open your eyes

And see that life is beautiful.

Will you swear on your life,

That no one will cry at my funeral?

I hear the ticking of the clock

I'm lying here, the room's pitch dark

I wonder where you are tonight

No answer on the telephone

And the night goes by so very slow

Oh I hope that it won't end though

Alone

Till now I always got by on my own

I never really cared until I met you

And now it chills me to the bone

How do I get you alone

How do I get you alone

You don't know how long I have wanted

to touch your lips and hold you tight

You don't know how long I have waited

and I was going to tell you tonight

But the secret is still my own

and my love for you is still unknown

Alone

Till now I always got by on my own

I never really cared until I met you

And now it chills me to the bone

How do I get you alone

How do I get you alone

Alone

Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill album got me through the first heartbreak of my life...

I have a few more from her too - SHE IS AWESOME!!!

You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette

I want you to know

that I'm happy for you

I wish nothing but the best for you both

An older version of me

Is she perverted like me

Would she go down on you in a theater?

Does she speak eloquently

and would she have your baby?

I'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother

'Cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't able

to make it enough for you to be open wide, no

And every time you speak her name

Does she know how you told my you'd hold me

until you died, till you died?

But you're still alive

[chorus]

And I'm here to remind you

of the mess you left when you went away

It's not fair to deny me

Of the cross I bear that you gave to me

You - you - you oughta know

You seem very well, things look peaceful

I'm not quite as well, I thought you should know

Did you forget about me, Mr. Duplicity?

I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner...

It was a slap in the face how quickly I was replaced

And are you thinking of me when you f@#k her?

'Cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't able

to make it enough for you to be open wide, no

And every time you speak her name

Does she know how you told my you'd hold me

until you died, till you died?

But you're still alive

'Cause the joke that you laid in the bed that was me

And I'm not gonna fade

As soon as you close your eyes and you know it

And every time I scratch my nails down someone else's back

I hope you feel it... well can you feel it

[Chorus]

This one rings so true about my D process...

It reinforces the fact that I chose to move on for myself. Can't say that I am the one who left, but I have been the one moving on the D, so I can move on with my life now...

That Particular Time by Alanis Morissette

my foundation was rocked

my tried and true way to deal was to vanish

my departures were old

I stood in the room shaking in my boots

at that particular time love had challenged me to stay

at that particular moment i knew not to run away again

that particular month i was ready to investigate with you

at that particular time

we thought a break would be good

for four months we sat and vacillated

we thought a small time apart

would clear up the doubts that were abounding

at that particular time love encouraged me to wait

at that particular moment it helped me to be patient

that particular month we needed time to marinate in what "us" meant

at that particular time

I've always wanted for you

what you've wanted for yourself

and yet I wanted to save us high water or hell

and I kept on ignoring the ambivalence you felt

and in the meantime I lost myself

in the meantime I lost myself

I'm sorry I lost myself... i am

you knew you needed more time

time spent alone with with no distraction

you felt you needed to fly

solo and high to define what you wanted

at that particular time love encouraged me to leave

at that particular moment i knew staying with you meant deserting me

that particular month was harder than you'd believe

but I still left

at that particular time

One more great artist with some intense heartbreak/relationship songs...

John Mayer

Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

It's not a silly little moment

It's not the storm before the calm

This is the deep and dying breath

Of this love that we've been working on

Can't seem to hold you like I want to

So I can feel you in my arms

Nobody's gonna come and save you

We pulled too many false alarms

We're going down

And you can see it, too

We're going down

And you know that we're doomed

My, we're slow dancing in a burning room

I was the one you always dreamed of

You were the one I tried to draw

How dare you say it's nothing to me?

Baby, you're the only light I ever saw

I'll make the most of all the sadness

You'll be a bitch because you can

You'll try to hit me just to hurt me

So you leave me feeling dirty

Cause you can't understand

We're going down

And you can see it, too

We're going down

And you know that we're doomed

My dear, we're slow dancing in a burning room

Go cry about it, why don't you?

My dear, we're slow dancing in a burning room

Don't you think we oughta know by now?

Don't you think we should have learned somehow?

Everybody falls sometimes

Gotta find the strength to rise

From the ashes and make a new beginning

Anyone can feel the ache

You think it’s more than you can take

But you are stronger, stronger than you know

Don’t you give up now

The sun will soon be shining

You gotta face the clouds

To find the silver lining

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains

Hope that doesn’t ever end

Even when the sky is falling

And I’ve seen miracles just happen

Silent prayers get answered

Broken hearts become brand new

That’s what faith can do

It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard

Impossible is not a word

It’s just a reason for someone not to try

Everybody’s scared to death

When they decide to take that step

Out on the water

It’ll be alright

Life is so much more

Than what your eyes are seeing

You will find your way

If you keep believing

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains

Hope that doesn’t ever end

Even when the sky is falling

And I’ve seen miracles just happen

Silent prayers get answered

Broken hearts become brand new

That’s what faith can do

Overcome the odds

You don't have a chance

(That’s what faith can do)

When the world says you can’t

It’ll tell you that you can!

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains

Hope that doesn’t ever end

Even when the sky is falling

And I’ve seen miracles just happen

Silent prayers get answered

Broken hearts become brand new

That’s what faith can do

That's what faith can do!

Even if you fall sometimes

You will have the strength to rise

The Climb lyrics

Songwriters: Alexander, J; Mabe, J;

I can almost see it

That dream I am dreaming

But there's a voice inside my head saying

"You'll never reach it"

Every step I'm taking

Every move I make feels

Lost with no direction

My faith is shaking

But I gotta keep trying

Gotta keep my head held high

There's always gonna be another mountain

I'm always gonna wanna make it move

Always gonna be a uphill battle

Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there

Ain't about what's waiting on the other side

It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing

The chances I'm taking

Sometimes might knock me down

But no, I'm not breaking

I may not know it

But these are the moments that

I'm gonna remember most, yeah

Just gotta keep going

And I, I got to be strong

Just keep pushing on

'Cause there's always gonna be another mountain

I'm always gonna wanna make it move

Always gonna be a uphill battle

Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there

Ain't about what's waiting on the other side

It's the climb, yeah!

There's always gonna be another mountain

I'm always gonna wanna make it move

Always gonna be an uphill battle

Somebody's gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there

Ain't about what's waiting on the other side

It's the climb, yeah!

Keep on moving, keep climbing

Keep the faith, baby

It's all about, it's all about the climb

Keep the faith, keep your faith, whoa

There is one song that played on the radio every single day after my best friend Billy died....we sang this once when I got him up to karaoke with me....for many that don't know...Billy was 550 lbs when he passed away from congenial heart failure at 35 years of age....I should have been there for him and he was trying to get me away from a really bad situation. He will always be my hero, best friend, and the only person who loved me for who I truly am and not what they expected me to be.

5/15/1965 - I always knew he was with me since my house and lot number symoboize that. He will always be with me and why I will always be alone.

I would do Walking After Midnight in honor of my sister-in-law Lorreta Lynn Hart....after all 2/29 was her birthday....always told her that wasn't fair...she only aged every seven years....taken too early in life by a man who didn't even serve a day...NY laws suck.

Forever And Ever, Amen lyrics

Songwriters: Overstreet, Paul; Schlitz, Donald Alan Jr;

You may think that I'm talkin' foolish

You've heard that I'm wild and I'm free

You may wonder how, I can promise you now

This love that I feel for you always will be

But you're not just time that I'm killin'

I'm no longer one of those guys

As sure as I live, this love that I give

Is gonna be yours until the day that I die

Oh, baby! I'm gonna love you forever, forever and ever, Amen!

As long as old men sit n' talk about the weather

As long as old women sit n' talk about old men

If you wonder how long I'll be faithful

I'll be happy to tell you again

I'm gonna love you forever and ever, forever and ever, Amen!

They say that time takes it's toll on a body

Makes a young girl's brown hair turn gray

But, honey, I don't care, I ain't in love with your hair

And if it all fell out, well, I'd love you anyway

They say time can play tricks on a memory

Make people forget things they knew

Well, it's easy to see, it's happenin' to me

I've already forgotten every woman but you

Oh, darlin'! I'm gonna love you forever, forever and ever, Amen!

As long as old men sit n' talk about the weather

As long as old women sit n' talk about old men

If you wonder how long I'll be faithful

Well, just listen to how this song ends

I'm gonna love you forever and ever, forever and ever, Amen!

I'm gonna love you forever and ever, forever and ever

Forever and ever, forever and ever, Amen!

This one's become very appropriate lately:

Tell 'em all I'm on vacation,

Say I went to visit friends,

That you ain't heard or seen from me in quite a while,

When they ask you where I've been,

Tell 'em I'm out on the west coast where it don't ever rain,

And that I'm probably doing fine,

(Chorus)

Just don't tell 'em I've gone crazy,

That I'm still strung out over you,

Tell 'em anything you want to,

Just don't tell 'em all the truth,

Yeah don't tell 'em all the truth,

Tell 'em all I'm out in Vegas,

Blowin' every dollar I ever made,

Tell 'em that I must be into something bad for me cause,

I sure lost a lot of weight,

Tell 'em I'm out on the road with some old rock and roll band,

Living like a gypsy king,

(Chorus)

The truth is that I'm asking you to lie,

And we both know that it ain't right,

But if you ever loved me please,

Have some mercy on me,

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

Tell 'em anything you want to,

Just don't tell 'em all the truth,

Yeah don't tell 'em all the truth,

I still need you,

Yeah that's the truth,

I still love you,

Baby that's the truth.

And, of course, Keith Urban's "You'll Think Of Me" is always a good choice, though this is undoubtedly the best version in my opinion:

When times get you down, cheer up, life is hard...but it is worth the ride.

Rascal Flatts

Life is a Highway

Life's like a road that you travel on

There's one day here and the next day gone

Sometimes you bend, sometimes you stand

Sometimes you turn your back to the wind

There's a world outside every darkened door

Where blues won't haunt you anymore

Where the brave are free and lovers soar

Come ride with me to the distant shore

We won't hesitate to break down the garden gate

There's not much time left today

yyyeeeaaahhhh!!!!!

CHORUS:

Life is a highway

I want to ride it all night long

If you're going my way

I want to drive it all night long

Through all these cities and all these towns

It's in my blood and it's all around

I love you now like I loved you then

This is the road and these are the hands

From Mozambique to those Memphis nights

The Khyber Pass to Vancouver's lights

Knock me down get back up again

You're in my blood I'm not a lonely man

There's no load I can't hold

Road so rough, this I know

I'll be there when the light comes in

Just tell 'em we're survivors

[CHORUS x2]

There was a distance between you and I

A misunderstanding once but now

We look it in the eye

There ain't no load that I can't hold

Road so rough, this I know

I'll be there when the light comes in

Tell 'em we're survivors

[CHORUS x3]

Aesop Rock's "Daylight"

(Yes, yes, y'all, and ya don't stop, keep on, to the break of dawn) (4x)

Yyo...

Put one up for shackle-me not clean logic procreation

I did not invent the wheel, I was the crooked spoke adjacent

While the triple-sixers' lassos keep angels roped in the basement

I walk the block with a halo and a stick pokin' your patience.

Y'all catch a 30 second flash visual

Dirty cooperative med platoon, bloom, head-trip split ridiculous

Fathom the splicing of first generation ****-up with trickle-down anti-hero smack--

Crackin'!

I pace my game for zero hour completion greetin' splash

Duke of early retirement, pick a dream, American nightmare hoggin' the screen

--I'll hold the door open so you can stumble in

If you'd stop followin' me 'round the jungle gym.

Now it's Honor and I spell it with the H I stole from Heritage

Merit crutch stolen wretched refuse of my teaming resonance

I promise: temperance towards breed with a leaning conscious

See, the creed acts sense responsive, but my sports supports the wattage, and I'm sleeping now! (Wow!)

Yeah, the settlers laugh,

You won't be laughing when your covered wagons crash!

You won't be laughing when the buzzards drag your brother's flags into rags!

You won't be laughing when your front lawn is spangled with epitaphs! You won't be laughing!

And I'll hang my boots to rest when I'm impressed

So I triple knot 'em and forgot 'em.

This origami dream is beautiful, but man, those wings'll never leave the ground without a feather and a lottery ticket,

Now settle down.

All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day,

put the pieces back together my way,

All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day,

put the pieces back together my way. (2x)

(Yes, yes, y'all, and ya don't stop, keep on, to the break of dawn) (4x)

--Slacker bounded intimate tabloid headline with a pulse

Shimmy cross the centerfold, and a dead time engulfed, divvy crumbs for the better souls

With seven deadly stains, adhere the blame to crystal conscience,

The result's a low life counting on one hand what he's accomplished.

Ok, link me to activism chain, activate street sweep

Plug deteriorating xenobit Pendragon

I hock swords cores for the morbid spreading of mad men (Alley gospel)

Sinking yer Lincoln-Log cabin and Charlie Chaplin waddle

--I could zig zag and zig 'em again for the badge dream sparkle in my brick wall windows

Another thick installment of one night in Gotham without the wretched "Houston we have a problem

--Attached to the festive batch of city goblins"

Who split holiday freak on a box-cut cinema high road bellow

Head gripped! Watch red bricks turn yellow

Sort of similar to most backbones at camp Icarus

We're all feeling crimes congregating at pamper for bickering

Life's not a bitch! Life is a beautiful woman

You only call her a bitch because she won't let you get that pussy.

Maybe she didn't feel y'all shared any similar interests

Or maybe you're just an ******* who couldn't sweet talk the princess.

Kiss the speaker wire; Peter Pacifism pagan thresh hold

Stomach full of halo kibbles

Wings span cast black upon vigils

Here to duck hunt ticker tape vision and pick apart the pixels

I got a friend of polar nature, and it's all peace

When I seek similar stars but can't sit at the same feast

(Metal Captain) This cat is asking if I've seen his bit of lost passion

I told him yeah, but only when I pedaled past him.

All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day,

put the pieces back together my way,

All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day,

put the pieces back together my way. (2x)

(Yes, yes, y'all, and ya don't stop, keep on, to the break of dawn) (4x)

Sage Francis "Slow down Gandhi"

There once was a song called "Arrest The President."

Contemporary music, a hit with the kids, it was a top ten.

I wasn't pop then, so I missed the bus a bit,

But politics was on everybody's hot this summer list.

The cool kids were all rocking votes,

I **** you not, I was pistol whippin' cops for hip hop. [booyea!]

On my soap box yelling into megaphones.

Killing hard rocks using carcasses as stepping stones.

Had to promise that I'd stop holding my marches

The day that Chris Columbus got crucified on golden arches.

My pedestal was too tall to climb off,

In fact that's the reason for the high horse.

And from up here I see Marines and Hummers on a conquest;

Underdogs with wonderbras in a push-up contest,

All for the sake of military recruitment.

It felt like Kent State the way they targeted the students,

I galloped off whistling "Ohio."

The rest of them, stuck doing stand up at a cricket convention.

What would they die for? (repeat)

Is it the same machine that leaves the quality of life poor?

An abominable colony of cyborgs?

Clogging up the property that I bought with eyesores?

That clever ad campaign ain't worth

The time taken from minimum wage labor;

I don't care how half-naked or fake she looks,

She smells like dirty cash and aged paper books.

What would she die for?

Slow down Gandhi, you're killin' em

Slow down Gandhi, you're killin' em.

Now it's whistle blower vs. the pistol holder;

Case dismissed, they'll lock you up and throw away the key witness.

Justice is the whim of a judge, check his chest density,

It leaves much room for error, and the rest left to destiny.

The West Memphis 3 lost paradise,

It's death penalty vs. suicidal tendencies.

All I wanted was a ****ing Pepsi.

Institution.

Making you think you're crazy is a billion dollar industry.

If they could sell sanity in a bottle

They'd be charging for compressed air,

And marketing healthcare.

They demonize welfare,

Middle class eliminated,

Rich get richer til the poor get educated.

But some of y'all still haven’t grown into your face,

And your face doesn't quite match your head.

And I'm waiting for a brain to fill the dead space that's left,

You're all, "Give me ethnicity or give me dreads."

Trust a fundie rebel without a cause for alarm,

Cause when push turns to shove

You jump into your forefathers arms.

He's a banker, you're part of the system,

Off go the dreadlocks in comes the income.

The briefcase (the freebase)

The sickness (the symptom)

When the cameras start rollin' stay the **** outta the picture pilgrim!

The briefcase (the freebase)

The sickness (the symptoms)

When the cameras start rollin'...

Slow down Gandhi, you're killin' em.

Mr. Save The World, spare us the details,

Save the females from losing interest.

And Miss Save The Universe,

You're a damsel in distress,

Tied down to a track of isolated incidents.

Generalize my disease,

I need a taste of what it's like.

Living off the fat of kings,

I play the scab at your hunger strike.

Slow down Gandhi, you're killin'em.

One love, one life, one too many victims.

Republicrat, Democran, one party system.

Media goes in a frenzy,

They're stripped of their credentials.

Presidential candidates can't debate over this instrumental.

Let 'em freestyle, winner takes all,

When the music’s dead, I'll have Ted Nugent’s head hangin' on my wall.

Kill one of ours, we'll kill one of yours.

With some friendly fire, that’s a funny term, like civil war.

Six in the morning, police at my crib.

Now my nights consist of two toothpicks and eyelids.

The crucifix and vitamins, music that is pirated.

New flavored food made of mutated hybrids.

Uh, they tell me that it's not that bad.

It ****s you up good, but its not that bad.

They hold on to these tales till it's the dog that wags.

God save us all if he lets the cat out the bag.

Who's the one to blame for this strain in my vocal chords?

Who can pen a hateful threat but can't hold a sword?

It's the same who complain about the global war,

But can't overthrow the local joker that they voted for.

They call the shots

(but they're not in the line of fire).

I call the cops

(but they're breakin the line of duty).

Lets call a stop to the abuse of authority.

The truth keeps callin' me, and I'ma live to tell the story.

So look for truth, quit seeking forgiveness.

You need to cut the noose, but you don't believe in scissors.

You support the troops by wearing yellow ribbons?

Just bring home my mother****in' brothers and sisters.

Cause they don't call the shots

(but they're in the line of fire).

I'd like to call the cops

(but they're breakin' the line of duty).

It's time to call a stop

(To the abuse of authority).

The truth keeps calling me

And I'ma live to tell the story.

[Meadow superstar

That is what you are

Coming from a farm

Reaching with your arm

Come away with me

To another ranch

We can rely on a tree-branch

(Greeting is on)]

Garth Brooks-She's Going To Make It

He followed her to work this morning

He'd never seen that dress before

She seemed to sail right through those dark clouds forming

That he knows he's headed for

After seven years of marriage

He wanted out

And after seven monthes of freedom

Its clear that there's no doubt

She's gonna make it

And he never will

He's at the foot of another mountain

And she's over that hill

He's sinkin' at sea, and her sails are filled

She's gonna make it

And he never will

And you know its not like she's forgot about him

She's just dealing with the pain

And the fact that she's survived so well without him

It's driving him insane

And the crazy thing about it

Is she'd take him back

But the fool in him that walked out

Is the fool that just won't ask

She's gonna make it

And he never will

He's at the foot of another mountain

And she's over that hill

He's sinkin' at sea, and her sails are filled

She's gonna make

And he never will

Need You Know

Lady Antebellum

Picture perfect memories

scattered all around the floor.

reaching for the phone,

cause I cant fight it anymore.

And i wonder if I ever cross your mind

for me it happens all the time

Its a quarter after one im all alone and I

need you now

said I wouldn't call

but I lost all control and I need you now,

and I dont know how I can do without

i just need you now

Another shot of whiskey

cant stop looking at the door,

wishing you come sweeping

in the way you did before

And I wonder if I ever cross your mind,

for me it happens all the time

Its a quarter after one im a little drunk and I

need you now

said I wouldnt call

but I lost all control and I need you now.

and I dont know how I can do without

I just need you now...

wooh oo wooh oh

Yes I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all

Its a quarter after one im all alone and I

need you now

and I said I wouldn't call

but im a little drunk and I need you now

and I dont know how I can do without

I just need you now

I just need you now

oh baby I need you now

Haven't heard that one before, but might be adding that to the collection. Good song.
