Author logitech
I used to stay up really late until I was so tired that I would need to go to bed. I watched more TV than ever before. As ashamed I am to say being a guy I have been watching a lot of Two and a Half Men here (it's on tv every night) as it allowed me to get away from things a bit. I was forced to move out of the unit we shared and also buy myself a car. Mind you my mattress is still on the floor since the base of the bed is still at the ex's storage. I'll get it one day... Jagged, when you say the fall weather, what sort is that?? We don't really have a fall here in Aus.
JaggedRoad
Hmmm... it's when the leaves turn brown, fall off their branches, and wither away on the street. It's an interesting season, I suppose. The temperature cools down and everyone starts putting on their coats. It's the season where Halloween thrives. Things die, but you know that it's just a part of a cycle. Perfect for a break-up if you ask me =)
Author logitech
Surely it's a great time for a run in the park with the changing colours??

EricaH329
I've been sleeping on the couch since my break-up as well. It's only once a week or so, but my reason isn't as clean xP Other than that, I'm feeling quite okay today. The fall weather is starting to be a downer though =( Ah, i've been on the couch for the past month and a half! And I know what you mean about fall weather. Hell... i'm even more terrified of winter!! Every time I step outside, the thought of him appears. At the same time though, the new memories should over power the old ones. The fact that you are growing as a person should beat any old memories that you have! I know, it's hard to see that now... but next fall, you'll remember the positive (and very enlightening) times you are going through now. I never knew how funny that show was until I was stuck watching it! Hilarious show!!
Author logitech
Hey Jagged, Isn't Central Park one of those places everyone jogs etc?? Sorry my knowledge of places over there is pretty minimal. One step to regaining your life people is getting off that couch!! It's funny how easy it is to dread the new season. Here in Aus we're heading into Summer and all it makes me think about is how much free time I have (off-season for hockey) and how I don't have anyone to go to the beach etc with. It's all relative. We all just have to get out there and own it. Whatever season it is. In the end the seasons aren't going to wait for us. Unless of course you want to keep jumping hemispheres but that usually gets pretty expensive.

My memories towards fall and winter have every bit to do with my ex because that's when I moved in with him, and have many many memories that are associated with those seasons. But in the end, those seasons will come and go, just as well as our age will. We need to associate those seasons with our own memories. Of us doing better for ourselves. I thought we were still talking about Cali. Duh. I'm an idiot I went to Disneyworld (or land, I get confused) in Florida. From what I can remember it was pretty cool. I'd love to go to a huge park like that on Halloween. Unfortunatly, i'm always stuck with being at work, or going to the local haunted houses. Boring!

I just want to be clear cuz i'm kinda lost too in the conversation..lol.. I actually worked at disneyworld back in my teen days. It kinda ruined the magic working there. Cuz when you see Snow White behind the scene making out with random guys kinda ruins the magic you know...lol..Always thought she was a good girl..
Author logitech
So is Disneyworld the bigger and better one?? I was a little disappointed with Disneyland in Cali since the castle looked like it had been pulled out of someones pocket As for Snow White etc, I remember seeing the parade in Tokyo Disney and wondering where they got all of these amazing women from since they were basically all models. I have to say I preferred the RL version over the animation On a side note, do any of you guys have plans for your weekends?? Out and about??
Broseph
On a side note, do any of you guys have plans for your weekends?? Out and about?? Disneyland might have been the most disappointing day of my life angelfish, oh but Huntington beach I love that place. Fires on the beach that is too cool reminds me of point break. Anyone remember that movie, Keanu Reeves name in it was 'Johny Utah" How tough is that Your coming to Sydney Logitech? That's funny because I'm heading your way. Have my parents in from Canada and we might head to Byron Bay til Wednesday (took a few days off). Oh and Erica just to fit in with you guys I am sleeping on my couch tonight, actually gave my rents my room for the night. Halloween Horror nights, why didnt someone tell me about this? Did everyone else know about this:laugh: Have a good weekend folks!!! Oh yeah scored a goal in soccer tonight.

Haha, that's fine. I know nothing about Aussie. And yes, Central Park is the place where everyone jogs, bikes, and walks until it gets dark. Let's just say that there were numerous incidents at the park many years ago.

Author logitech
Well the plan is to go to Sydney, catch up with mates that I don't get to see often and to have a great time. Timing is a bugger since there is a big party tonight that I will be missing but them's the brakes I suppose. The other part of my plan is to stay off the internet all weekend so hopefully I will have enough distractions to keep me busy all weekend. Have a great weekend guys!! I will probably check the forums a few more times today but then it is break time
Author logitech
BAH!! Reviving my thread rather than starting a new one. Things were all good on the weekend (except for being ill Sunday and Monday). BUT, for some reason this week I can't stop my memory wandering. It's almost like last week I was on too much of a high that my mind has decided to level things out by going the other way. She's popping up in my mind all the time. I had the urge to look at her profile pic on FB. In the past each time I have thought of it I have just done it. This time I am fighting the urge. It seems like that alone is causing her to hang around but I guess I am treating it like a test of my resolve. Wow, I just checked the dates again. I thought it had been longer but it has only been just under 2 months since the official split. It's also just a few days under a month since we last had real contact. ... I know exactly how you feel!! The past few days have been horrible for me. I've had insane dreams about him, and throughout the day, i've thought about him. I think the majority of it has to do with the fact that the last time I talked to him he was in Alaska. His destination is Japan. It's been 3 days, and he hasn't been online at all. I'm a little worried (more than a little) that he isn't alright. I guess that's the main reason for me thinking about him. But besides that, I totally understand what you are going through. It sucks!!!! But let me ask you something, honestly, is it the idea of her that you miss? Or actually her?? There is a fine line between the two, but I know that if you take a second to think about it... you'll realize which of the two it is. (BTW, if it's the memories of her, than it's the idea of her, just thought i'd point that out.)
EricaH329
Ok I spoke entirely too soon. The minute after I submitted that post, he IMed me. Thank goodness!!! He's alright!! Now it's back to NC!
EricaH329
Ah geez!! I hope strength finds us, and saves our poor souls!! I feel more sad now, than I have in a long time! I am fully aware of the fact that it is the idea of him, rather than the person he is... but it hurts all the same. I know that tomorrow I (as well as you) will feel better. We need to muster up all of the strength we can possibly find, and push through this!
