Mommylicious
We have a 2 year old and another on the way. So far things are going smoothly, but I wonder how long can this last? I must put it out there that we have been separated for close to a year now but because of medical reasons we decided to have one more child before I am unable to. For my childerns sake I'd like to stay living as a "family" till they are on thier own as crazy as that must sound, but I did not get to grow up in a "stable home" and want that for my kids. So my question is can 2 people live together for the kids but have thier own lifes to? I love my ex but I'm not inlove with him, we were friends before and seem to be doing ok so far now that we are not together.
jessiebee
Depends on the type of person you and him are. If you guys can both handle one going out while the other stays home and vice versa then I guess you guys might be able to do it. It's nice that there are people out there that want to sacrifce what might be their happiness for their children. Also some ppl learn that having a life-long companion is better than any onenight stand or year long relationship. Just make sure you are able to REALLY handle all that may come with living with the parent of your child!!
