Star Gazer
I don't like the ribbon on that dress... SB's suggestion is gorgeous!! And you can do the ribbon in white, so that it doesn't look different from the dress.

It's pretty, I just don't like the ribbon (colored or not). I also don't like that the train starts down so low in the back..while I'm in the church everyone will be staring at my butt instead of the train!

Gorgeous train on it, too.

Rollercoasterr
The sleeves on that one kind of remind of the sleeves on the other one you liked. So it could actually be beneficial to try it on. You might love it. I really love the train on it though, but it wouldn't bother me if there were no sleeves.
Author Lauriebell82
When are you going to pick out your bridesmaids dresses? Well, one of my bridesmaids is coming with me today to try on some dresses. My sister and cousin are going to be in SC over Thanksgiving so they will try the dresses on that I like then. This is one of the dresses that I really like for the bridesmaids though... http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?productID=8770a8ee-e8ec-436c-8f86-f3ae69065070&categoryID=772f03c9-de43-4942-bfa0-da77e21ebd65&pg=1 and http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?productID=542b8bd1-31e0-4b6b-936f-0777d2250432&categoryID=772f03c9-de43-4942-bfa0-da77e21ebd65&pg=3 BTW, does anyone know what a "modesty piece" is? Some of the pictures say that it comes with an optional modesty piece.

Rollercoasterr
Ahhh, well the priest won't notice anyway... I hope not!! lol. The modesty piece is also that little flap that's on the back of lace up dresses, but I've never seen a lace up bridesmaid dress. Might be interesting!

Been a LONG time since I've seen floor-length bridesmaid dresses actually worn at a wedding though... What color are you going with?

Yeah, the benefit of that is that it won't have to get altered much. Since all my bridesmaids live in different places, they may have to have their dresses altered months in advance. If they gain or lose weight it wont' matter either because the corsette can be adjusted.

It actually looks beautiful on, my other bridesmaid tried it on and she looked gorgeous in it! Probably celedon (it's a lighter green) will be the color.

Rollercoasterr
I would think that if your dress isn't a lace up, then the girls should be either. I know it isn't in the bridal rule book or anything, but it would just look off to me. Very easy for alterations, but I'm not really a fan of it on those bridesmaids dresses. But again, it all depends on the type of girls you're going to have in your wedding. I've spent the last month trying to find a bridesmaid dress to make them all happy and beautiful(I'm not a mean bride), but I gave up and told them what colors I wanted, the fabric, and which designer. From there it's their choice.

hotgurl
so LB how about hair have you thought about your hair yet? I had floor length dresses. They were beautiful. What are your colors again? Also what time of day are you getting married?
