Girlinterrupted
Well the "grape vine" for once is correct, money in a card is very impersonal and I doubt she'd appreciate that. One thing that all woman love is jewelery, you can start there. Nothing too expensive and definitely not a ring (you don't want to give the wrong signal), I'd suggest a nice necklace or bracelet. A bracelet would be your safest bet. Something simple but pretty, maybe something to match a piece of jewelry she already has. Earrings are always great too. Check out her style and buy her something that isn't too far from that. Remember in the end it's the thought that counts, I personally hate to get a gift when I know no thought at all went into it. A gift certificate to a spa maybe. A beautiful piece of lingerie, a nice night gown never hurts either but these are best if accompanied by jewelry. Good luck & Happy Holidays
imjustagirl
I completely agree with GirlInterrupted. My boyfriend got me a $200 watch after we had been going out for 2 weeks (it just happened to be valentines day). I was a little surprised he bought me something so expensive, but the watch was a nice gesture. I would definatly go for the bracelet idea. ~justa~
Caddy
LOL grape fields Girl is right. You can't go wrong with jewelry! Just make sure it's not something that's like gold plated or will turn green on her finger!
Cass33
Last x-mas my b/f got me a gold bracelt with two hearts, and on each heart was our initals. I think it was my most memorble gift yet! i love it so0o much and wear it all the time. So0o yes jewlery is a great idea, but well i also think if u go shopping you'll see something that just screams her name! good luck with your gift
CaterpillarGirl
Jeez...jewelry? A little expensive...but nice, of course. If you're under budget constraints try to get her something that reflects an interest of hers. If she's into traveling, maybe an atlas. If she likes to bike, take her on a bike ride that ends in a nice dinner or something. If she likes chocolate, get her some. Poinsettias are also nice at holiday time..they're the "Christmas flower." If the gift isn't expensive, make it fun. Make a treasure hunt with clues she has to follow to "find" the gift. Even if it's just a card and a rose at the end it will definitely be memorable. Kelebek
Hi NTB, that sounds like a really gorgeous gift, perfect! My man who I adore SO much gave me a little crappy bracelet thing he wore round his wrist, 4 weeks into our relationship, just cos I said it was nice. That was nearly 6 months ago and I still wear it!!! Point being - this girl likes you. She'll be delighted with anything you give her, cos it's from YOU. Even better, you've chosen something you thought she'd like (and something which sounds beautiful), she'll be so touched. Merry Christmas!!!! Let us know how she likes the necklace!
