I have a long distance relationship with a man. He told me that he would wait as long as he had to wait in order to be with me even if he had to steal me away from another man. He also said later that if I couldn't wait, I could see other men sexually as long as he would never know.

 

I thought it was really sweet of him and I told him right away that I could never do that, because I don't want anyone but him. I really truely don't want anyone else. I thought it was very considerate and he was trying to make sure my needs were met even if he couldn't be here to take care of them for me.

 

The second thought came when I told my friend what he said. She said, "So what does that mean he is doing now while you two are apart? If he gave you permission to cheat then he can too." This bothers me a little bit, its not a big deal but a wave of jealousy naturally ran through me.

Any sane man would not want his woman to sleep with other man. The only reason he said he is ok with it is so that you would say you are ok with it too. Who knows? He's probably sleeping with other girls right now.

It's very similar, to your story; the guy suggests having an open R while his gf is abroad.............and then gets upset about her fooling around while she's overseas..................................
