sb129
I thought you guys were planning for one soon after your wedding or did I get that wrong? We were but didn't expect it to happen quite so quickly, thought we might get a little practice in first... It's great to have some free time. So how do I stop my Mom from calling? Rhetorical question since that's an impossibility! You can't. And she will be calling you a million times a day towards the end...

Wot are you whining about? It coulda been worse: I coulda said 10 pounds even...like sb129's Wonderbaby! I'm not gonna change my first square...but don't make me pick another one cos you def won't like it
Trialbyfire
I'm so sorry for the thread-jack, but GT (AKA- insufferable Aggie Twit) started it. I hope that you will keep us informed about the shotgun elopement, with particular attention to the make, model and gauge, of the shotgun used.:D I'm not familiar withe the protocol of an elopement, could I get invited? I'm perfectly willing to act as usher. No worries about thread-jacking! As for elopement, I don't know the protocol but we're getting married at my parent's place with a few family and friends, present, so ushers won't be necessary. I appreciate the volunteering though. Could you explain? I'm curious about the story behind this "tradition," now. I was being facetious, in that there's no real tradition within my family, although it's true that my oldest brother was conceived out of wedlock! The tradition I previously mentioned, is that in general, conception out of wedlock is frowned upon, at least for the social conservatives, which both S. and I are. We were but didn't expect it to happen quite so quickly, thought we might get a little practice in first...Haha...practicing can lead to all kinds of things! You can't. And she will be calling you a million times a day towards the end...Lovely. Maybe I should disconnect my phone. Congrats TBF!Thanks goodlife. Wot are you whining about? threebyfate
Do you need me to DJ or at least juggle fire or do magic tricks?Music's taken care of by assorted friends, S. and myself bringing our CDs and iPods! We're not having any kind of dancing, unless people want to go to the family room and do their own thing. If you could juggle fire, that would be fantastic!

threebyfate
No problem, just have a few extinguishers handy. No offense but if you don't mind going outside to do your thing, my parents have a small open area in the middle of their front lawn that would be ideal. No hedges or plants close by, just grass! Thanks for volunteering your time, for filling in what's missing!

Phateless
I hardly ever go on the off topic thread, but did last night at 3AM Eastern time for some strange reason ! Turns out the ol' instincts were right because our dear TBF announced her pregnancy AND upcoming elopement ! I hope you don't mind me "ringing the bells" for you TBF, since you already announced it on the OT thread, and I wanted a thread dedicated just to you and this exciting happy news ! If I hadn't been restless last night I never would have known myself, and I would have been bummed to miss out ! So everybody, our good friend, and wise counselor TBF is doing something completely unplanned and completely wonderful ! Cheers !!!!!!:bunny: Congrats to TBF! She has been one of the pillars here as long as I've been here, and time after time has excellent advice and perspective. She keeps a level head and I can respect her opinion even if she's telling me I'm whacked in the head, lol.
threebyfate
Wow Phateless, I'm flattered! Thanks. I can happily say that I've never told you, you were whacked in the head, since you're a level-headed guy!
