Dooda
Hi, I'm going through alot of stress lately, and my anxiety problems are getting to an all time high. I have compulsive thoughts from the minute I get up to the minute I sleep. I feel constantly tired and unmotivated, unrelaxed. I feel like I can't enjoy the world anymore and I'm constantly socially secluded and into myself... I can't relate or talk to anyone atm and I feel like no one understands me. I want to do something to stop this... I have decided to start eating properly (or to atleast try to eat properly) and exercise at least 3 times a week, which I have already started since about 2 weeks. I take about 2 yogourts a day if I can, 4/5 fruits/vegetables, a healthy portion of meat/chicken/fish/eggs (although mostly meat), and a regular source of carbohydrates (although I don't take whole weat products). I am also doing weight lifting 3 times a week. Would eating whole-weat rather than white rice/bread help in reducing my stress, because of the high source of fiber in them, or are the fruits/vegetables a sufficient source in fiber? Anyone have any tips on how to eat healthier, like what portions to eat when or what fruits/vegetables are best for reducing anxiety and stress? Thanks.
xpaperxcutx
If your nutrition habits are good, you might to reevaluate your daily physical habits. What is it that you're doing that's causing you so much stress? If you're suffering from anxiety disorders, I do believe a physician or a therapist will be more helpful in providing you with answers.
