mbeewood
To negate the idea that women don't find short men sexy, I submit to you the massive number of women (myself included) who think Jon Stewart is hot as f*ck. He's not really that short. He's 5'7, which is about 4.3% less than average.
Sam Spade
http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/features/2009/1016/1224256777500.html How modern man became a wuss I don't think prehistoric man was taller, but he was definitely stronger and faster. There was a story on CNN the other day how 70%+ of the present day us teenagers do NOT satisfy the military's minimum fitness requirements. This is particularly disconcerning considering that those minimum requirements are nothing hardcore, indeed just 'reasonable'. (even I, a 33 y/o academic rat who barely works out more than 2 times a week, succesfully fulfil them:mad::mad: (except for the two mile run because of a shaky knee). As for height and size - in a fight, only an actual large discrepancy in height and weight matters; the few inches between 5'8 and 6'2 that women obsess with are completely inconsequential. We are becoming weaker both physically AND mentally. Modern information technology has great advantages for ad-hoc research and analysis. But, the in-depth mental discipline necessary to tackle complex problems is long gone from the educational system.
aerogurl87
This, proof womens tastes in men are not biological or evolutionary or whatever. Why would one want a "tall" (which according to women meant better protector in the best) and "lanky" (which pretty much means lack of much muscle). It's a complete contradiction. Women are screwed up. It's called preference that's why. As long as the guy doesn't have a second home at the gym, then I'm happy to date him. I'm full of contradictions, it's one of the things that makes me uniquely me.
Sam Spade
the evolutionary value of female contradictions is also to be questioned since it makes for a very unstable child-rearing environment
