thecutest1 Posted December 8, 2003 Share Posted December 8, 2003 well ....i am in a very very ackward decission ......i am 18 and its been 24 years since my fokls have been married ....the problem is about a year back i found that my dad watching a gay pornographic site ....he doesnt know that i was watching him .....my sister who is 4 years older to me doesnt know and i am afraid to talk to my mom so only i am the only one in my family who knows that my dad is gay ....its really changed my way to looking towards my dad .......what should i do .. Some didn't know they were gay when they got married; others knew but still loved the women; others wanted the 'traditional' home and family. Having said that, that your dad was watching gay porn does NOT mean he's gay. He could just be curious. He could be bisexual. Or maybe he has some gay or bi fantasies that he would never carry out. According to sex researchers, the percentages of people who are exclusively gay or straight are smaller than the percentage of people who lie on a continuum between. Not only that, but people have fantasy lives that they indulge as fantasies only. So don't jump to conclusions. You could tell him what you saw and ask him what was up, I suppose. He's been your dad for X-number of years and he certainly won't treat you any differently. He'll talk to you when he's good and ready to.
