Aveenolover Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 What do you guys find more attractive? A shy girl who is kind of mysterious and takes a little bit to open up or an extremely outgoing girl who is loud and not afraid to speak her mind right away?
mushmush Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I want to have rough dirty sex with the outgoing loud girl, and have relationships with the shy reserved girl.. i.e Even though i'm drawn to the shy girl the conversations to my mates about the loud, out spoken girl would contain something like "damn, i'd like to smash the **** out of her..." just being honest

I'll take the shy / reserved girl any day. The smart *and* reserved girl makes me ejaculate in my pants. I equate a loud girl (in fact - loud anybody, man or a woman) with a dumb and obnoxious child that deserves spanking in lieu of adult conversation.

I adore cuteness and normally it's the shy ones you have to look out for in the bed room.. Edited November 10, 2009 by mushmush

Author Aveenolover Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 dang, all these replies caught me off guard. i was kind of seeing a guy and over the weekend he said he just wasn't interested in me because i was too reserved. he said he likes a BIG personality and wasn't patient enough to wait for me to open up.

The way the question is asked is kind of biased don't you think? A girl who takes a little bit to open up or an extremely loud girl? Forums are going to give you biased answers also, since I'd bet most regulars tend to be introverted. My ideal girl isn't shy or loud. But she is social, confident, positive, and energetic. I think that's what most guys are attracted to as well. Hope that helps.

Wrong guy for you then--best to find these things out early on. Don't feel bad--I had a guy tell me I have the wrong hair--mine's too curly so we can't have a relationship. 1

SadandConfusedWA Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Most guys prefer loud, outgoing girls. It's the truth - being shy is a disadvantage.

If by extremely outgoing you mean a 'social butterfly', I personally can't stand that type of girl. They always strike me as attention whores. However, being too shy is also bad, because could mistake your shyness for a lack of interest. Edited November 10, 2009 by Johnny M
monkey00 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Most guys prefer loud, outgoing girls. It's the truth - being shy is a disadvantage. I'd like a girl who's in-between and have traits of both. I don't think shy is being a disadvantage, I think a lot of guys are just impatient and just the fact that with shy girls...you can never really tell what they're thinking or know if they really like you because they rarely show it. To me the shy girl represents classiness while the loud girl represents raunchiness and lack of femininity. So that's why I personally like someone in between. 1
SadandConfusedWA Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Personally: overly dominant, talkative, loud and outgoing people (male or female) make me want to hit them with something over the head

I am probably just bitter. I lost two guys I was in love with to girls that are not just social, confident and outgoing, but are all that to such an extreme that they were both literally the loudest and most dominant people I have ever met. 1
harmfulsweetz Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 dang, all these replies caught me off guard. i was kind of seeing a guy and over the weekend he said he just wasn't interested in me because i was too reserved. he said he likes a BIG personality and wasn't patient enough to wait for me to open up. I had a guy do that once. We went on a few dates, I was so shy it was unreal, I never knew what to say (see, I thought I got passed the shyness years before) and he said he was so close to just calling it a day with me, when bam! I started to speak and he said he was so happy he stuck around because it was worth it. Some people just take longer and need coaxing, that's what I needed. Now I won't shut up! But I'm still the shy/reserved type and there's nothing wrong with that. I prefer quiet. Some men like it, some don't. Some find it endearing and mysterious, others find it a turn off. You need to find one that finds it endearing.
harmfulsweetz Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I think you have to be a bit of both too, not too shy, but not too forward. This comes with practice. And age. I can't stand someone that overdoes the loud thing, but then the quiet thing does my head in too. But most people are quiet on first dates etc. Quieter than normal anyway. My brother's fiance is very quiet, it's sort of sweet though.
DanielMadr Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Girls should be ladies on the party, mums in kitchen and whores in the bed. Not whores on a party, ladies in kitchen and mums in the bed. I like shy. It is feminine and healthy. 1
stepka Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Personally: overly dominant, talkative, loud and outgoing people (male or female) make me want to hit them with something over the head Oh yeah, did you ever watch that show, "So you think you can dance"? There is a judge on there, a woman, who has the loudest and most obnoxious voice I've ever heard on anyone and I've always wondered how she could get a date, though she is very pretty. But, some guys like that.
betamanlet Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I perfer outgoing because I'm a bit shy, and shy women are unforgiving of that trait in men.

But, some guys like that. OMG. Finally SOMEONE thinks that!!!! Jeez I was in my room and my TV in the living room wasn't even loud and I could hear her. The only reason why I don't watch that damn show (and there are some pretty good dancers on it) is because of her!!!! Ugh... By the way - I did this experiment once. My personality is somewhere in between - I can be shy at times and outspoken other times. Honestly, some guys like the shy girls and others loud ones. But the fine line between the 2 works the best (IMO). You don't want to talk so much that you reveal everything about yourself but you also don't want to not reveal anything. 1
cognac Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Most guys prefer loud, outgoing girls. It's the truth - being shy is a disadvantage. This isn't true. The reason some of these loud and annoying women seem to have an advantage is because they are physically attractive. If it wasn't for that someone would've smacked them quiet
samsungxoxo Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I'm not either of them. But yes there was at some point I used to be the shy, mysterious, preserve one until somehow I got out of that shell. Though there are few occassions that might make me go back into that shell again as well as times where I state what's on my mind and give out my straight forward opinion. But just fews days ago, I noticed I overdid it. So ok there are times, I have to watch it. For example: I didn't know what the word Ghetto meant but lucky no one was offended. Oh well so much for the change. I said I'm right in the middle...

But it's probably easier to approach the loud girl.
