girlwithgreenscarf
Hi, I met a guy online and we have been chatting back and forth for 6 months. the beginning was great, texting everyday and talking on the phone every week. in the past 2 months, he has started to not pick up when I call. He is always with his friends or working. he's late to reply to my texts and everytime we set up a time to talk, he never picks up. it seems impossible to get his attention at all, other than to fight about why he doesnt pick up. We have never met but the idea of meeting him seemed wonderful because he seems like a great guy Id be willing to go the distance for. I suggested we cool things off until he's less busy to put time into us, and he had no response. it sucks.
hoping2heal
It sounds like he just has lost interest. It does suck but at least you figured it out sooner rather than later.

Yeah I would have to agree here. Sorry, that is always a crappy situation. LDRs are very difficult. It takes a lot of work on both sides to make up for the lack of physical intimacy. whichwayisup
Hate to say it, but he may have a girlfriend, or be married. Or he's just changed his mind and isn't interested..Doesn't have the courage to end it. I suggest completely backing off and focus on your own life, your friends, family. People connect online all the time, but it isn't reality. You only know what he's told you, and while you may think you know him well, you don't..
Boundary Problem
Hi, talking on the phone every week. in the past 2 months, he has started to not pick up when I call. I suggested we cool things off until he's less busy to put time into us, and he had no response. it sucks. I don't think he is respecting your feelings and needs. I suspect when he started dropping off the face of the earth he met a new girl. If I were you I would block his emails and insist on phone contact if he wants to resume. Don't let it just fall back into the old routine, or he won't respect your original requests or you for that matter. Plus make it a stipluation that you meet each other in real life before resuming with him. When he blew you off, the game changed.
