laRubiaBonita
that your SO was going to propose? If so, how did you know? What were the signs? i had no clue- but apparently most everyone else did. for starters..... he had come by my apt. (that i shared with my sister)... and was getting some of his clothes, and was looking at my rings- my sister clued him in on what i liked in jewelry- lord knows i have a lot of bobbles, but i do not wear most of them. my sister told me about this after i got engaged. he had spoken to my parents about propposing to me nad they kept it quiet from me. i met him in puerto rico, he had a business conference there and i went down a few days after he did and we spent a week together- he planned it all, we stayed in a few different places- each in differing regions. the people i work with told me they knew he would ask me while we were away. him proposing then really never crossed my mind- i was totally surprised! sally4sara
Well, I knew he was going to propose and I knew when but he still managed to trick me as to when and where. How I knew he was going to propose was we were talking about moving out of the country to help open a bike shop. I am divorced and I have full physical and legal custody of my son, but his dad could try to say moving out of the country was not necessary for me to do since it was not my job that would've caused the move. I mentioned that and he said "so we'll get married." He started referring to me as his wife. We'd get in stupid tickle fights with him calling me Mrs. Hislastname and me calling him Mr. sally4sara. I told him it would not be so easy as that for him; I required a bended knee proposal. So I picked out some stones and he took them to a jeweler we knew and had a ring made. I figured it would go down during a trip we had planned to go to NYC. He acted like the ring had been finished but that he forgot to pick it up. Till we were in Central Park on a bridge and he got down on one knee and fished a box out of his messenger bag.
