Younger Male...do I tell him how I feel?

Hello,

I hope someone can help me with this situation.

 

I met someone online little over a couple of weeks ago (it was on a dating site- although I am listed as 'not looking'). I saw this guy had viewed my profile, something in his profile made me laugh, so I sent him a quick message. He messaged back and we exchanged messages for a week or so before progressing on IM.

 

We talked all night that first night, never even went to bed, the time just went by so quickly. He opened up to me that he's pretty inexperienced with dating. I am older than him by quite a few years but find him attractive and as yet, the age difference hasn't been an issue.

 

I sent him a photo of myself in an e-mail and he never really mentioned it, but keeps saying in general conversation that he doesn't imagine I'd find it difficult to find someone.

 

For the past week we've spoken well into the early hours and I feel we've connected in a big way.

 

Due to his inexperience I don't want to frighten him off by being too outright with him. He seems to make little subtle hints at him liking me and will say things like he finds it hard to know if a girl likes him in a non platonic way.

 

A male friend of mine says that no male would talk ALL night every night to someone they weren't attracted to, but I aren't sure if he just see's me as an 'agony aunt' figure.

 

I feel pretty stupid because I am a grown woman, but the fear of scaring him half to death makes me hold back.

 

The age difference isn't really an issue to me as I tend to have alot of younger friends and connect with them all well.

 

Any help on interpretting what he's saying or on what you think I should do?. Would a guy talk all night to someone he has no interest in what so ever?.

perhaps more info would help you get a response. Are we talking a 30- 50 age gap? or a 19-28ish age gap?
