ladyblondie
My problem is I don't do anything. I do some stuff, but I find it hard to complete things, or if Im interested in something, I do it once with wanting to do more, but never do. Alot of times money is the issue, but all my life I never feel as if I complete anything. Im far from a lazy person, just don't know what my problem is.
LonelyGuy85
I know exactly what you mean. I seem to be going through a crisis myself; i am not sure what is happening to me. I personally have started swimming, alot, it's not expensive and a great form of exercise. Plus it helps with my OCD side. Try a few different things before you stick to one. It will help a lot, trust me.
Author ladyblondie
Im trying different workout routines at the gym just to spice it up abit. I used to be creative, I lost my creativity and desire to do anything creative. Wanna get back my creativity and do some stuff for pure joyment. Just kinda stuck trying to figure out what I Can do that I can complete, and not do something just to fill in time. Such frustration.
LonelyGuy85
Maybe you should try things that you never previously considered. I am looking into Scuba diving at the moment, despite in the past i have no interest in the area. For me at the moment though, i have no friends, so i am still building up courage to do this on my own. What creative area are you interested in? Do you know why you stopped? Author ladyblondie
I went to school for graphic design, but I more do that kinda thing on my own. I do wanna get into crafts, I thought about learning how to crochet and knit. So will see. Just gotta get myself involved doing things. Biggest thing getting me down is not having a job, aways applying and getting no where.
LonelyGuy85
I can definitely relate to you applying for jobs and not getting anywhere, i had to apply for more jobs than i care to count before i landed a really pathetic job considering i have a good degree aswell. What's stopping you from trying knitting or crochet? Give it a shot, even if you don't like it, at least you tried and then you just find something else, or alternatively you could love it and regret not trying years before. Awesome Username
I'm the same way naturally. The only way that I got in the habit of finishing things I started was to bring other people into the picture. For example, I need to learn Actionscript 3.0, so I told a friend of mine that I'd make her a website. If I wasn't making something for someone else, I'd likely blow it off and not even get it done. Regarding the gym, if you have a buddy to go with you regularly then you'd go more often. Behind every type A personality, there is someone or something riding their ass to get their stuff done! Pizzaman81
...I need to learn Actionscript 3.0... Hey... for some reason, I am extremely attracted to you now! Do you make flash games?
Awesome Username
Hey... for some reason, I am extremely attracted to you now! Do you make flash games? I'm trying to move from console to flash internet-based games, because that's where the $'s at, yo. I'm actually an animator by trade, but it's not enough anymore if you actually want to be a game designer. For a short time, to my delight, I did work on a high-profile social networking game on Facebook that was Flash-based, but in order to work on it AGAIN I must pound the books and youtube tutorials (they need advanced scripters). People have a vendetta about artists-turned-coders so I have quite a bit on my plate to begin with, not to mention AS3 is completely different than AC2. *hiss* God grant me patience! I got friends who work in game industry. Concept artists and coders are alwys butting heads. Artists always say YES YES YES Devs always say NO NO NO Devs would say, "No our engine cannot do this. That will take too long to render... NO NO NO" Artists would say "MORE MORE MORE!"
