Yet another "does she like me?"

Recommended Posts

Well there's this girl that I work with who I really like, who I think might possibly like me back, possibly. What do you folks think?

Here are the facts:

1: She always says hi when she sees me and sounds really happy

2: She seems happier when I'm talking to her

3: She giggles at the slightest funny thing I say or sometimes wher I say something that isn't funny

4: She seems almost too anxious to help me

5: She is always asking me about me

6: I'm sure, working with her one day I heared another girl say to her "just kiss him" but I don't trust my hearing and even if I heared right they could have been talking about anyone

7: I'm quitting soon and someone said to her "are you going to give him a goodbye kiss" she replied "no" but then giggled a bit

8: Someone said something (that would have been loud enough for most people around to hear)to which she angrily shouted "shut up!!" and she wouldn't tell me what they said

9: She seemed really sad after she found out I was leaving

10: She was telling me how she had lost weight

11: She was showing off her 'tan' and then comparing it to mine, when she is asian and I'm white(with no tan to speak of) (ok so this one probably has no relevance but it struck me as being rather odd and is bugging me a bit)

Thoughts, ideas? Does she, doesn't she? Need more info?

It sounds like something that would contribute to a professional environment. Don't mistake nice for niiice at the workplace, it could cost you a lot of money. It does however seem like she likes you a bit, and maybe you should make a move after you leave, ask her to coffee or whatever.

Definitely be careful of romances in the workplace, first of all. Don't like them myself. Often interfere. However, she is showing some signs that she's interested. If you think she's worth the risk, the only way you're going to know for sure is if you make a move. Ask if she'd like to do something or if she's interested in getting to know you better. The worst thing that will happen is that she'll say no. Rejection is never fun, but I think it's better to know how someone feels about you than to always wonder.
