Patty
The family is having a birthday party for my grandmother in the nursing home.I dont feel like going,my mother wants me to cause shes going to be 90,which I can understand that part. The other part is Im kind of annoyed that I dont have a bf to take with me,while my other cousins are married with kids and I dont have any of that, which will make me feel kind of awkward anyways.I know I wont enjoy myself like my cousins will. Its cause I got nothing in common with them. Yes.I think I will go,since its her 90th.I will try to focus on her that day instead of what my cousins got. Its her day.And Im sure she wouldnt want to see me mad anyways.I'll just try to put out of my mind that day what was bothering me. And try to give her a good party.

Angel1111
The fastest way to NOT get the thing you want in life is to be jealous of those who do have it. Be happy for your cousins and wish them well. You'll have someone in your life soon enough. Just because you have problems with being single, doesn't mean that's the way everyone else sees it anyway. And it defintely isn't a reason not to go to events - especially for a 90-yr-old grandmother.
