ramble on rose
While it is by far not their best album.... "I CAN'T QUIT YOU BABY" That song shreds-you can't beat that jam....was worth the $6.00 I paid for it at the ripe old age of 10. Man am I dating myself or what...
dyermaker
Oh, you're right, that is a good song. Still not worth sitting through all the other ones, but maybe I'll bring it along next car ride. I'm so brutal, I really do love Led Zeppelin. It's not that CODA is so bad, as much as I, II, III, ZoSo, Houses, Graffiti, and even Out Door, are so good. Btw, Didn't 6 dollars buy like a car back then?
ramble on rose
I dunno dyermaker....I was only 10 LOL!!! And considering I am now ONLY 32 I don't feel I am the spokesperson for the state of the economy at that time
Pookette
I think anything by Metallica is especially good. It's angry music to listen to when anger is the best choice of emotions out of a heap of icky ones.
dyermaker
Ramble on Rose! That song, I can't quit you baby, The one "...but I'm gonna put you down for a while". That's on Led Zeppelin I, it's song 8.
ramble on rose
You're right dyermaker....I guess CODA is foiled again! I will have to listen to see the difference.?? Another great breakup album is Peter Gabriel's "Us". I think we need to start a Led Zeppelin Forum - we're probably boring everyone to tears....

michiganmale27
One song I always play in times of feeling depressed about relationships is "Just Another High" by Roxy Music off the Siren album. Great lyrics, and the chorus is one that is very catch and you will find yourself singing along too. Hope that helps!
