I'd experiment with different messages to see what works the best. Your length seems about right. They know you read their profile so you don't have to say that. You don't have to tell them to check your profile out. If they are interested, they certainly will.

Hey sorry I missed this earlier. As I said earlier in the thread I don't have a problem with guys in their 20's using this type of picture, but then again I am not 25 perhaps the best ones to ask are the women in your age group. I think if anyone can get away with it it is you guys in that age group you are at that "anything goes" sort of age anyway.

 

A middle aged guy does send out the kind of message that he is only looking for sex, I just couldn't take him seriously unless he is some kind of body builder then I can see why he is doing it. Still not my type but I can understand it. So if I had to choose between a hot shirtless dude and a nice looking guy in a good shirt the choice is obvious for me, I choose the guy in the shirt. The latter sends the message that he is looking for what he says he is looking for. A guy looking for intimate encounters would be photographed naked, or half naked in this case.

 

I think there is a distinct difference between women and men and that is that men are more hung up on the female form, some men don't like curvy women, some men like flat chested women, some men like bootyliscious women, some like a petite little boy figure on a woman other men like a marilyn monroe figure it's all over the place. I really don't think women are that discerning when it comes to men's bodies alone, maybe the women disagree with me and I am only speaking for myself. My main thing is his face, a decent body and his overall sex appeal which is attributed to so many other things other than a picture of good abs.

That's why I'm so glad to be out of the meat market. While it was fun being single, in that there's so much freedom, it's much nicer being in love, married AND preggo, with someone who appreciates all of you, rather than the focus towards what you can provide physically.
