Whether it's a prostitute or not.. is not problem... the problem is .. he cheated...

 

Ironically... I've read many threads here that Ws have contracted an STD after their H's A... methink a prostitute (escort) is way cleaner than many women out there... and I'm not talking about street prostitutes, drug addicts.

And I don't think it makes a difference if it was a hooker, there are plenty of people who just cheat not for money.

Your bf is a cheating pig and there is no excuse for what he did. Men do not naturally cheat.

 

That being said I bet many of the women in here slamming him would justify it if the genders were reversed.

Men do not naturally cheat, but there are studies out there that state that 87% of men, if given a chance, would cheat if there was NO Way anyone would find out.

 

It's biological to want to keep the species going, men have not evolved to full term yet ;-)

You will never trust him again but it sounds like you may decide to stay a bit longer with him anyway. It is great that you forgive him but that doesn't mean you should stay with him.

I actually saw this phd dude on CNN with Anderson Cooper who did this study. Of course all this is coming out now since TigerGate.

 

They did a study with 10, 000 men. Not sure of the accuracy, but I think LS is a good place to see that this is probably the case ;-)

What do they say on that commercial? "What happens in vegas stays in vegas".. You do not own this man.. If you chose to start sleeping with him, and choose to let him go to Europe with buddies, that's what guys do.

I don't know why you are so obsessed with this gender reversal idea....girls who think that a guy is a dirty skank for cheating will also think that a girl is a dirty skank for cheating. Some women are so competitive with each other that I see them give other girls a harder time than they would give a guy over stuff like this.

Ewww.......plus, it's illegal. And having to resort to paying for sex is pretty rank. And the girl might also been trafficked against her will into the sex trade which is a HUGE problem in our country. Imagine if you'd played a part in that - that's horrible.

All the more reason to legalize it. Weed is illegal as well but I like a nice spliff every now and then. The law is not always the best moral authority.

that's insane. Check out my posts, every violation I've had at LS has been because I've pointed out how the women cheaters on this board are just as "filthy" as Tiger!

1: Prostitution is NOT illegal in some areas of Europe. Matter of fact its rather regulated medically. So stop with the back alley connotation of the use of such an ole time profession to be so vile. Been to bars where its free for the young generation and been to High level societal events where the paid female is a chaperone (what a nice pleasant word to describe the same profession). None the less, to each their own.

2: Boys will be boys? Okay yeah and a true gent isn't a BOY. Get over that mentality .It doesn't wash in the adult world for justifying this boyfriends actions. And yeah ultimately Adults are responsible for their own actions, there actions go where ever they are. They don't run under carpets or hide in suitcases....That isn't the real world.

3: The female poster who started this post was given some wonderful down to earth reality checks. Hope she listens and considers them to be of use.

Prostituion is either legal, or decriminalized in the VAST majority of nations on Earth.. It is rampant in the USA as well, but we kind of ignore it.

 

I dated my best friends sister in the past for 2 years.. When we would go out even he would want to me to "hook up" with women as a sort of male bonding.. I actually see this often..

 

I would also say that in the in the past I passed on trips likes this with the buddies out of respect for my gf.. Amazingly that turned me from "cool guy" into "codependent wuss" in her eyes immediately..

:confused: I would like to think that I could trust my boyfriend to not cheat on me, when out of town for any length of time - even when he's with "the boys". Not all men would do that, no matter where they go - and if they aren't strong enough to stand up to peer pressure, then I can't respect them.

I think you need to tell him if you wanted to set your va-jay-jay on fire you would use some gasoline, a match and make it quick. That's what you should tell him and then kick him out. I mean you can stay sure, you can follow your "Feelings" but you're only going to get hurt by it. There is no avoiding that part.

 

People can change their behavior, once they do it ... it changes their belief systems. Person who's manipulative can change, but only at his/her own will.

 

Nobody is in position to "convince" that person to stop doing it. It is just a lifestyle. This doesn't mean that I agree with it. :)
