organizing the distance...

hey everybody,

 

first i wanted to say tnx, cause some of you guys have been very supportive during the last weeks.

I sorted out somthing new:

my boss gave me kind of an ok to reduce my working hours and block them (not confirmed yet, he is gonna tell me on friday), so i'd work 2-3 days a week instead of 5 (fulltime), which means i'd have 3-4 days off a week, depending on my universitiy schedule.

 

my so is 2,5 flying hours away and my plan is to fly over 3 times a month or so (now we see each other every 5 weeks appr)

it went through airlines webpages and if i book asap it would be about 200-400 euros a month.

that's not cheap, i know, but we could at least share the load, we both have secure jobs and at the moment he earns quite well - he might not be able to come till next fall (he comes over for christmas, but thats it, then he has no holidays anymore and he should be careful cause he is waiting for a passport)

we would see each other heaps and on a regular base and i dont take the risk i wanted to take - to quit my job, delay my studies and go there for one year and then come back together.

i'm actually pretty afraid not to find a job quickly where he is and to experience difficulties to find one as soon as i'm back, so thih might be the better way to do it...

 

any opinions????

hey guys

 

sounded super good...

and i did get the confirmation on monday and in the evening i told him, he was happy, but not jumping out of joy

and for some reason there is no feeling of relief inside me...

i feel empty - i fought so hard to convince my boss and at one point i got pretty close to loose my job

and since monday we havent talked properly.

 

and now his brother who is living with him and who has to move out when i come regularly seems to be mad at me or whatever and says things like: "i really hope your english gets better" (i talk to him once in a while when he picks up the phone)
