Glenguy
1. Because I have never been married before, and I still desire the young wife I never had. I'm talking about late 20's to late 30's. 2. Because it appears that most women my age (I'm 47) not only let their bodies go, but also their personalities. I get totally turned off by the "sour dishrag" personality they seem to have....hardened by baggage that they can't seem to get rid of. Or could it be menopause? 3. Younger women are more enthusiastic about life, and they're just plain exciting! They just make me feel good about myself, and them.

Are you looking to have children, do you have a house, and are you financially stable? If you answered yes to all three, you're more likely to find a younger woman to marry. burning 4 revenge
A lot of women your age may seem boring to you because many spend so much of their time working /only to come home and sacrifice all of their freetime for their family. Theyre at that age where a lot of them still have to help some of their children and quite possibly their parents too. Thats on top of dealing with their bodies getting older and more tired. If you like younger women thats your perogative. If you have something to offer maybe some of them will like you too. But I can tell you this..that loss of luster you see in the women your own age isnt just exclusive to women so Id tread really carefully around the youngsters if you dont want to get taken advantage of Or maybe Im just a cynic

I get totally turned off by the "sour dishrag" personality they seem to have.... Because they are in their 40s and can't find a man. If I were a girl and in that situation, i'd be grumpy

First all of all there are many older woman who take very good care of themselves. You must have not been hanging around the right ones. Also, if you need a younger woman to boost your sense of self.. then it sounds to me like your not happy with who you are and rely on this so called younger woman to complete you. If that's the case, that line of thinking will do you NO good in the long term. Just my 2 cents! Mea:)

They will stay young even longer. I really don't know the purpose of this thread or what you want from us, but I am glad you figured out what it is you really desire. Men have been doing it for centuries.....in this age of gay marriages, what's so odd about what I want?

I just question your reason for wanting it that's all. But, only you know what will make you happy. I wish you the best. Mea:)
Island Girl
Me thinks I'm spending WAYYYYY too much time on this forum, me thinks.....I have a feeling that older men are not very popular on this forum. There are plenty here who are regular contributors and well respected for their opinions and the way they state them. Interesting that you make such sweeping generalizations not only when it comes to women whom you would see and possibly become involved with - but also women here on LS. Just an FYI - if you make generalizations like that, you guarantee you are wrong even some of the time and more than you realize. Good luck with those younger women. As soon as they clue in that they'd like to be able to discuss current events etc. with someone and will want more of what they have in common - they'll dump you. And as you get older it will become more and more of a problem. But good luck with that!
calizaggy
Don't listen to the females on here..Obviously they are aging and do not want to realize how important age is to men. So they shame you. What you want is 100% natural and normal around the world. I know many women in their mid to late 20's whom prefer men in their 40's. Studies also show that a man's midlife crisis is not brought on by their own age, but brought on when their wife goes through menopause.

IMO they are offering their opinion on the subject at hand. So GG.. do hear what us ladies have to say. Mea:)

Trust me women here on LS or probably in your life, do not care that you have decided you want a 20 something year old. I'm just confused as to why you started this thread and what you want from us. Were you just telling us this is what you have decided you want? If so, best wishes to you. Or, is there some advice you want regarding it?

Author Glenguy
Lol, ok, I admit that my original post had no clearly defined purpose other than to share my thoughts on the subject....rather moot, I suppose, but I do appreciate all the honest replies. Too be totally honest, I have met some beautiful women who are 40+, so, there are other possibilities.
