Barby Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hi...I have a quick question...does anyone know if flexeril 10mg (they are cyclobenzaprines) will show up in a general federal probation drug test? Before anyone jumps my sh*t...I had a valid prescription..had some left over medication and was suffering from extreme back pain today. I took one and am subject to random drug screens...I want to know if this particular medication will show up in a normal drug test if not specifically looked for? Any accurate information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
TheLoneSock Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 If you were prescribed for it in the past it should not be considered abuse, as long as it served the same purpose as before and is part of the original prescription. Just make sure you bring the proper documentation and tell them beforehand, they should be able to tell you if it will trip the test or not.
Brady_to_Moss Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 (edited) Since Cylobenzaprine is an unscheduled drug, it is not illegal to have in your posession without a prescription so it shouldnt be an issue Edited December 15, 2009 by Brady_to_Moss

Before a drug test you will be asked to list all drugs you are PRESENTLY taking. When one of them shows up in your urine, blood or hair, depending on which test your taking they will then ask for the perscription or DR's note to support it. Flexirol is a muscle relaxor and will show up.
2sunny Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 as an option and in order to not show on drug tests with severity - why not take ibuprofen for the back pain?
