luvflower
Is there a term for people falling asleep really fast? This guy that I've knwon for a while can fall asleep and start snoring within in like 5-10 seconds of laying down. He never told me he had narcolepsy so I don't think that's it. It's kind of annoying. Maybe I'm jealous because I can't fall asleep as quickly , but it's really weird how fast he gets to sleep. I do know that sometimes he'll drink a beer to help him fall alseep faster because he works 2 jobs and wants to get his rest. However, he knows I don't like him drinking and won't drink around me much at all. Yesterday though, after he got off around 11pm he had only a half of a 24oz lighthouse and was falling asleep as he drank and ate his dinner. Is that normal? What do you think the deal is? Author luvflower
Sleep Apnea: Consult a medical professional if you experience, or if your partner observes, the following: Snoring loud enough to disturb the sleep of others or yourselfShortness of breath that awakens you from sleepIntermittent pauses in your breathing during sleepExcessive daytime drowsiness, which may cause you to fall asleep while you're working, watching television or even driving yes! all of the above except for pauses btwn breathing...i don't think. i havent sat and watched his breathing patterns but he surely wakes me up with that snoring. he seems to fall into a DEEP sleep so quickly. AND...it affects him while driving and i have had to yell at him and make him pull over and lt me drive. it's frustrating b/c he wants to be in my life but this has become one issue , out of others, that pushes me away from him. he sleepwalks through like i feel. always working and then half sleep when he gets off and still expects me to "be there"... the bkgrnd of the relationship is long so i won't get into it, but this work and "sleepwalking" thing doesn't motivate me to be with him at all, especially with other issues that exist already. just wanted to get other insights and opinions. thanks guys!
