Beauty sleep

Boundary Problem

I am reminded in this holiday season of the benefits of getting an adequate amount of sleep.

I also think that a proper amount of sleep maintains your youth and vitality.

I think we are a sleep-deprived society.

Yes, we've replaced good-quality sleep with bad-quality stress.....

Too fast, too furious, too must-do-must-do-must-do!!

Time constraints deadlines, mobile phones, instant messaging, electronic decisions, must be done by yesterday

Fer chrissakes - !

Nobody ever died saying -

"Sheesh! I shoulda spent more time in the office!"

Too fast, too furious

Not as good as the first movie :)

The OP is right, you look best with regular sleep. I like to sleep in and stay up late which wreaks havoc with my ability to fall asleep in the first place.

Re: Beauty sleep,

I have basically discontinued using an alarm clock. How am I supposed to start off my day with a blaring bell ringing me awake and interrupting my rest so I can be up on time? There is nothing "good" about that "morning."

So now, I just go to bed early. If I need to wake up early, I just go to bed earlier. Also, I eat before 8 pm and that helps me feel less groggy the next day....it really does work.

I have an alarm clock. Its called a baby. It used to go off every 2-3hours, 24-7.

You don't know true sleep deprivation until you have had a newborn!

I hate sleeping except for afternoon naps. It's such a waste of time. Too bad Bump and his father, insist I get at least 7 hours.
