lovesparis Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 i've been MIA on this forum for awhile, though i have occasionally checked in. i'm not sure if this is the right place for this question. background: i've known J for about 10yrs. he was a friend of my brothers. when we were younger we were both attracted to each other but i wasn't interested in dating "his type"; HS dropout, drug user, etc. life happens and we reconnect via FB. he's going through a lot of stuff. we start being friends, hanging out, going out, trying new things. he's really interested in trying new things (art galleries, wine tastings, etc) brother passed away about 5 yrs ago. things have recently gone to the "next level" we're not "boyfriend/girlfriend" but we're more than FWB. however, he said to me "it's weird that you're "michael's" sister" we discussed this, but i'm not sure if even he knows why he feels that it is weird. any one have any suggestions on how best to handle this bump in the road?
