Do you mean before they hook up? In that case, yes, alot of guys I know (myself included) "test" girls, to learn more about them, see if they are interested, etc.

Yes, I do agree. I would have to say that most guys do play games. How frustrating.. why can't they just be straight foward with things??

Many guys fear rejection. They also might want to know if it's worth the effort, time, etc.

So what exactly do guys do to test girls? Say you met someone new, how would you go about finding out if they're interested? Or do you wait until they just show signs of it?

Flirt; to see if they are interested and to see how far we can go!

I often have a hard time figureing out whos playing the game. I am a guy and sometimes I feel like I am a participant to the game but Im not sure I actually started it. Yes, It would be wonderful if things could just be in black in white but for some reason they never seem to be.

Almost everybody plays games.

Women play far mare sex games than men. Big surprise.

People are unoriginal and they usually play the same games.

I don’t know how many times I referred to this book.

Games People Play by Eric Berne

The first part (40 pages) covers the basics of Transactional Analysis, and the second part is a thesaurus of games.

I know I should read another book or two on the subject so that I could provide more quotes and references.

I don't play games. I can't stand them. Have no respect for those who DO play games.

Maybe, maybe not.

Many games are so integrated into culture and daily life that you may not be aware of them.

Personally, I despise sex games.

Games are just a waste of everyone's time - and sometimes they backfire on the players.

I'm talking about OBVIOUS games, playing with emotions, being sneaky or stupid on purpose or something.

and sometimes they backfire on the players.

Sometimes they end in violence, murder, etc.

Some people just want to be happy even at the expense of others.

I suspect what happened in the thread ‘Told him about LoveShack and told him not to look but he did anyway..now we’re ruined’ was a game called “alcoholic.” I’d have to say it was ‘Velvit Vixen’s’ final post that gave me the idea. To all those who posted there, I think we were all players. Too bad the thread was deleted.

Maybe I’m a snake with a long memory.

most people do play retarded games.. but I don't have the time or patience for them. If I like someone, or want to hang out with someone..i'll straight up ask them/tell them. If they don't pick up the phone or drop a line, screw em!!! If you know someone who's "testing" you so to speak, be straight up and don't play the game, if thats not your thing. My opinion is it's only a RED FLAG for what would come should **** get serious
