DreamDancer1801
Hey. I just went to the doctor today finally. I've had a really bad cough since Thanksgiving, but because of te flu epidemic I was afraid to go to the doctor because I didn't want to get something else. Since I am going out of town tomorrow, I finally went to the doc's today. Turns out I have acute bronchitis, acute sinusitis, and bronchial spasms. I am now on 4 perscription medications, including steriods, cough syrup with codine, antibiotics, and an inhaler <woohoo drugs haha lol>. Does anyone know of anything else I can do besides taking medication that can relieve some of my symptoms (including productive cough, chest wheezing, post-nasal drip, runny nose, sinus headaches, stiff neck, pain in sinus cavities, ect.) I already bought a Vick's Vaporizer for my bedroom, I thought that may help. Any suggestions would be GREAT! Have a nice day. ~Kate
Tony T
Stay out of the cold and wind, or be sure to bundle up well, and closely follow the directions of your doctor. I don't think your doctor would withhold any information from you that would help you get better.

cindy0039
The vaporizer should help. I also have one of those little portable Vick's vaporizers that you put your face right over and the steam goes into your sinuses and you breathe it. It seems to help me when I get sinusitis and bronchitis. Eat chicken soup and drink lots of clear liquids.
