Invisible Walls...

Recommended Posts

Hey, I've been in this same situation for awhile now, and I can't seem to get out of it. I met a girl just a year older than myself (I'm 16) at a party who actually goes to my church (I guess I never saw her before) and she approached me and we danced. Later we said our goodbyes and she was off. The next couple weeks consisted of a lot of facebook messaging. The problem is, that is about as far as it's gone. We never really talked at the party because of all the noise, and now there's this weird awkward barrier for some reason. She actually brought the awkwardness up in a message at one time. Then we agreed we should talk more at church. I've seen her about every week, but I haven't talked to her very much. My problem is that I can't just approach her out of the blue, and it makes it even more tough when she's talking to other people. It's been almost three months since meeting her. I don't know what to do... I'm losing time and I can't seem to brake down the barrier, but I know she's worth it, and she has expressed interest...

Talk to her at church. She is obviously interested in you. How about you take her on a date? Just send her a message over facebook telling her you're going to a show and ask her if she is interested in going. This would be a great time for you guys to be alone and learn more about one another. Don't be so afraid to take chances. I wish I could meet someone at church, but 98% of the men at our church are 40+.:laugh:

well first of all she's older than you that makes it a little hard...the girl might be interested in u as a good kind guy she met in church...u have to find a way to spend time with her like after church or before...stop the fb innocent messaging as it might put u in the friend zone...talk to her on msn but dont sign in alot ...like sign in once a week and talk to her then for some hour or two (trust me on this one) ask her out the 2nd time u talk

good luck !
