Which one do women love more: looking or touching the well-built muscles?

Recommended Posts

hi. I already know that women love men with well built body and propotional muslces. my crush said it'd look a little cooler, though it's not important for her. do women love muscled men just because of the look? what about when they have a touch at it? i mean do they love hard muscles when they touch it? (i do think that soft might be more comfortable :p)

Hmm. That's a tough one. I'm dating a guy that has great muscles. But I'm very much a touch person in general, so my opinion on which is better (look or touch) is going to be biased. I love, love, love touching. To me, your question is almost like asking if I want to just smell the meal (look at the muscles) or eat the meal (touch the muscles). Silly boy. Looking and smelling how good the meal MUST be makes me want the meal MORE! So the meal gets devoured because it appealed to my other senses, first. ;)

When we're just lying there relaxing, getting ready to sleep, cuddling - whatever - he doesn't feel like a rock. He's VERY comfy to cuddle with. The only muscles that are constantly hard are his pecs. Everything else seems to relax pretty well unless he's flexing.

lol

thanks :)

i really have no idea bout these things, i'm still 17 with no sister and my crush is so introvert, she always gets annoyed when I ask question such this.

so you don't like the pecs then? if women don't like the pecs I have no need to exercise on it. :p

I love looking and touching of course.

My husband has a great body and I love on how he looks on his jeans or when he wears smart suit. When you have nice and lean body, clothes will hang right into your body and I think it's actually sexier than walking around in pants with no clothes (just like some guys do in my gym). Women are wired with subtleties but obviously, if you are in swimming pool party or you have to play skin during basketball, then by all means, show us your washboard abs and your well built chest.

I also love to run my fingers through his abs and his biceps. I think a lot of my girlfriends tell me the same thing (on how they love to run their fingers through abs, biceps, and even butt).

Oh, no - the pecs are niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. LOL He's the first guy I've dated that has well-defined pecs and I like them very much.

Muscles don't do a whole lot for me. If a guy has a lot of muscle, all I can think is that he's way too into his body and looks and it's a turn-off. I like natural muscle on a guy but not muscle that's developed in the gym.

I never understood this little "preference" that people have...natural muscle...? I don't understand what's so unnatural about muscle developed in a gym...they're certainly not artificial muscle implants...

It almost sounds like holier-than-thou attitude..."oh, my man has 'real' muscle because he has a labor-intensive job..." I don't buy it...

And the work people put into themselves at the gym isn't for you...it's for them...so if they're proud of their achievements and their body, then so be it...

Would you tell a man that it was a turn-off that he was into his career? You can't always assume that just because he works out at the gym, he is Mr. Narcissist who only cares about himself.

But in the end, to each their own...

I've been told countless times.. if I get any bigger and more lean... i'd be such turnoff...

Go for the lean bodyfat.. don't build up. Big muscles turn off A LOT of women, I've found.

I'm 6'1"... ~ 205-210 (flux daily) w/ a 10-12% bodyfat... during the summer I drop that down to 8%

No one ever says this to me. Stop being a sarcastic ass.

Agreed x 1 million. Big chunky muscles are kinda yucky...as are the John Basedow muscles...that's a bit of overkill there if you ask me...

I don't like guys with huge muscles.

I like the lean, yet defined look.

The last guy I date was shortish, thin, and hairy....and I wanted to touch him all the time:love:

I can agree with this. Basedow does not look good to me. THAT, I would not like to cuddle with. Schwarzenegger or Fabio are also good examples of "too much." (back in the day, anyway) The guy I'm dating, I'd say is closest to Channing Tatum topless (when CT is in good shape). :D

What I meant by 'natural muscle' is the muscle a man develops by his natural activities, muscle that he has without doing anything in particular. Men are just naturally more muscular than women so they don't really have to do anything to be more masculine looking. I prefer a sleek-looking man opposed to muscular. I immediately associate over-built muscles with a lack of intelligence. I have no idea why, but I do. I prefer a slender man, even a little tummy is fine, because he appears intelligent and fun-loving to me - and intelligence and a great sense of humor are two of the highest priorities to me.

It's not a holier-than-thou attitude because, for the most part, I'm not attracted to men who have labor-intensive jobs. I'm attracted to the intellect who sits behind a desk and uses his mind. A guy who concentrates too much on building muscle is a complete turn-off to me. Always has been.

What do you mean by natural muscles, Angel?

The body responds to and adapts to what you do to it - which why this guy.

will have a different body than this guy...

Everyone's muscles are natural. Which specific body type are you referring to?

Built -- thicker muscles. Think Football Player or Heavyweight Boxer.

And looking as well as touching. Both are EVEN and NECESSARY.

Oh dear. Will saying "BOTH!" be an appropriate response? :)

My thoughts exactly!! I loooove the look of a lean, well-defined man. Nice arms are one of my biggest weaknesses. :bunny:

Hot, for well-built muscles, since they're on a leaner, larger body frame, with harder, older male muscles, rather than the youthful puffiness/smoothness:

Not hot, for well-built muscles:

And yes, I do have a preference for touching a lean, harder body, rather than a softer male body.

My "type" has always been chubby men. I love a big belly!

However, my most recent boyfriend was very lean and muscular and I loved it! I enjoyed both looking and touching but I have to say touching was much more fun for me.
