lkjh
You're just forcing your morals and beliefs on others. So are you. Abortion is murder and especially nasty when you are using as a means of birth control like in this case. Killing the baby simply because the child is inconvenient is horrible. But you shouldn't be telling her what she should do, she's capable of making up her own mind.
samsungxoxo
Abortion is just a politically correct way of saying killing, murder, etc... Whatever............
reservoirdog1
Abortion is just a politically correct way of saying killing, murder, etc... Then don't get one. The OP, however, can make up her own mind.
Dexter Morgan
1/2 way off the subject, but since abortion was brought into this, its pretty damn despicable that a child has to pay the ultimate price for the parent's stupidity. and no, the ultimate price isn't being brought into the world either. simply amazing. FryFish
What child? Until it has a working brain it is just a fetus.
Trimmer
This is a valid topic of discussion, but one that should be taken to its own thread.
Author tabitha1985
There is no point in talking about abortion for me. I've discussed this topic with my ex and he is adamant that the child (if his...which I know it is...) be born and him seek 100% custody. Until I sort out things in my own head it makes sense and I'm ok doing it. I know the child will be in good hands. I just hope that one day I can re-engage with the child, I just have a lot I have to sort out in my head and in my life. Plus, the stress of being a mom is taken out of the equation and that has helped. I suppose he is ready to be a dad and I'm just not ready yet. No reason for the child to suffer. On a positive note, he's still going to the counselor but he's going on his own. I saw his car in the parking lot when I got there about 30 minutes early. A bit surprising considering he seemed so uninterested. I asked the counselor if he was doing ok but she said "we have bigger fish to fry and let's move on." I guess that was her way of dodging the question. Regardless, he's taking whatever steps he needs and I am as well. The ex who I met and cheated with apparently noticed the change in status on my myspace and still isn't leaving me alone. I haven't responded but I gotta get him to leave me alone. Ignore him, he will leave you alone, little things like changing your status gives him encouragement. The counselor asked the question weel. They are not allowed to discuss another patient. I think your ex will gain respect for you by having the baby and giving him custody. Just because your a trainwreck now, that doesn't mean that in time you won't be able to be a good mother. In fact you can start being a good mother now by taking care of yourself and making the healthiest choices for your unborn as well as yourself.

Yeah, if he wants the baby then you should have the child and give him full custody. It's only fair. I hope the counselling is helping you.
rina_r
I am sorry for your fiance. I am not sorry for you - you really f***** up! But if i were you, I would get an abortion and move on with your life, no matter what it is your fiance wants now, baby or custody or whatever
Dexter Morgan
What child? Until it has a working brain it is just a fetus. too many times, abortions are performed after the brain and heart are working and limbs are developed. I might, and thats a big might, be ok with it if its done within the first couple months. But that usually isn't the case.

Most "abortions" are usually just natural miscarriages. Most abortions performed by doctors are done in the first trimester. It is illegal in most of the modern world to do them after that.
