longlegzs80
How do you know if you are dealing with a problem with anxiety?
Samson
I would feel it was a problem if it prevented me from doing a normal established routine. If this has to do with the holiday, then I'd wait a week or so and see if it clears up after all the making out at parties is over. If you still are anxious about eternal loneliness after this time, and it begins to effect, for example, your ability to bathe, eat, or sleep, then I'd seek a professional opinion. It affects her life in terms of the relationships she has - with family, friends and romantic relationships. I sort of just get used to it and try and help her when I can. She has lost some friends and her boyfriend is still there but I feel that he is part of the problem. My parents are tired of her extreme emotions..especially my mother. It is hard to deal with a lot of the time. But for the most part we let her be...
