This doesn't make any logic...

Hi there!

 

I would like some opinions about this story I had with a girl.

 

She's from my school, but she is not from the same class as I am. When we first saw each other we didn't really care about each other. However, months later, I started to feel something for this girl. Her friend is a very good friend of mine, and she helped me in getting out with her. When we met in the school we talked to each other, we didn't meet to often, but we got to know each other a bit. About 2 weeks later we 4 with the boyfriend of the chick who helps me, went to a mall for some tea, and chatting. Everything was good. She seemed to like me, although she didn't seem too excited. One week later the school organized a big party. The girl came as well, and we danced for like 2 hours, and there were moments when we were holding each other. Next week, school holiday, and she went abroad. We sent 2-2 texts each other (I started the texting), in one of them I said that I would prefer my school holidays with her and her reply suggested that she would like to be with me as well. Here we are, the week after is this one. Nothing changed since. I did everything right. And I was myself all along. We went to the theaters today to see a film, something I already invited her to the week before the party (she smiled and accepted). My goal was to kiss her, although I didn't show any sign that suggested her this (and you can believe me ) I was waiting for a moment in the cinema, to grab her hand, but she was holding her bag all along. Plus at the end she told me that she said to her parents that she'll be home by 5 PM. She knows very well that I want a relation with her, but this whole "date" was just...tasteless.

 

What's your opinion on that? I would still like to have a relation with her, but yeah...Like nothing happened before. It doesn't make any logic. Was this "date" a way to express that she doesn't want anything from me? So why did she accept this, and what about the party? Do you think I still have chance with her? Is this kind of non-logical behavior common?
