juju
Ok so i ran into a guy that i had met a while ago thru a friend, we flirted alot and he got my number. That night he left me a voice message saying how great it was to see me! and how he had company over new years, so he was busy all week. i misheard him and thought he invited me to a new years party,....so i left him a message saying i would love to go....(soo sooo stupid) he didnt call me back and i wondered why until i caught that he didnt invite me..so i left him another message saying i felt so dumb for Inviting myself...and he called me back saying that if there was a party i would totally be invited but he just said he had company he told me his company leaves in a few days so his schedule will be a little easier after he also asked me to join him and them on new years anyway (i feel he did it out of pity and embarrassment of the situation).. , so i called but noone answered but i didnt leave a message. I havent heard from him in like 2 days but i know his company is still in town. DID i completely blow it, i wish i never called him that night he left me the first message. now i fear things are ackward..... and he just forgot about me... his company leaves today or tommorrow and i still havent heard from him...what if he didnt know i called him back and thinks i just blew his invitatiton off ? im afraid to call him for fear of annoying him... we got alot of signals crossed and things are a little screwed up! i still want to hang out with him... could that miscommunication turn someone soo much off that they just forgot about me? hes very busy right now but i wish he would have at least called ...maybe hes thinking the same. i dont know but help!!! should i call him again.? or wait a few more days to see if he does. he left me the last message but i did call him !!oh im obsessing on this soooo bad !! please tell me what u think
Arabess
If you've fixed the wrong communication over the New Year's think in a message.....maybe it would be best to wait until he makes the next move.....or at least wait a couple of weeks. I wonder why he would invite you over to meet his company. That's kinda odd. Are you sure he isn't married?
juju
yea im sure hes unmarried. I think he invited me out of pity because on his answer machine i said "I WOULD ABSOUTLEY LOVE to go TO GO WITH YOU ON NEW YEARS" i feel so stupid....do you think i blew it?
clia
First of all, stop obsessing about this. Oftentimes events that seem absolutely horrifying are really No Big Deal. Maybe you blew it...maybe you didn't. At any rate, wait for him to call you. The ball is in his court now.
