Randy
It can but not always. Though I am a male, I have been told a lot of it depends on the gentleness and sensitivity of the man, the amount or arousal and anticipation in the woman, etc. Some women are biologically created in such a way that penetration is more difficult and painful (for both). Although very few people consult a physician before this event, which is usually not planned ahead, a doctor can prescribe methods for making the experience less painful. Intercourse can be painful even after many experiences if certain biological or medical situations are present. Generally, there is some pain during the first experience and sometimes just as much for the man. It should be spontaneous, relaxed, and don't expect too much the first time. I think most people come out of their first experience with a more positive than negative feeling about it. And it does get better, and less painful, with time and frequency. Here's hoping you get some ladies' viewpoints and experiences on the subject, since they would be able to give you information from their own experiences. Just remember, the experience varies from person to person.
billy the kid
usually but it really depends on the size of the male and the species.. does the female hurt during the first time of sex ?
LoveAngel
usually but it really depends on the size of the male and the species.. This posting is incorrect. It has no factual relevance. Pain is generally attributed to the first act of intercourse that a female engages in with the rupture of the hymen, a thin, protective membrane that partially stretches over the vaginal opening. This is classically considered a tell-tale sign of virginity, however exercise, medical concerns and procedures, and/or the usage of tampons may rupture the membrane prior to sexual activity. Regardless of the size or shape of your partner's penis, there is a significant chance that vaginal-penile intercourse will result in rupturing. It is imperative for your own sexual health and that of your partner's that you use a latex condom to aid in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and pregnancy. If you're concerned about any discomfort in your body or about having sex, please see a doctor or check out your local clinic or Planned Parenthood (you can find a link in our LoveShack.org Links section). Most will offer free services, information, and condoms. Be informed before taking any risks with your body. You only get one. Best wishes, LoveAngel
