pgummins
Not sure if this is the right forum people, but I'll give it a shot. I've had a rough time with a relationship the last few months, and my first year in college, I missed a lot of lectures, I was depressed and hated hanging around there really. I've started back and I want to give it my best, one problem is that there are 3 and 4 hours in between lectures. Any suggestions as to what I should do in between those times? Reading in the library would be the clever thing to do, but I would get tired, lol. I guess I need advice on how to keep a routine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
akazid
It really depends on what you want out of college. Are you looking to take an education seriously? Are you looking to become more outgoing? Are you looking to meet people? Basically, what is your goal out of collage. Assuming that your goal is educating yourself spend the 4-9 hour intervals in the library. For example, when you head to class before the interval pack some books into your bookbag that you need to read. That way, after class you head right into the library and don't have to procrastinate. 4 hours can easily become 0 with the right procrastination. If you are looking to be become more outgoing join more clubs and opproaching random people and talking to them during that time. Again, have a plan of what to do with the 4 hours and don't return to your dorm for those 4 hours. In general, my belief is have a set plan for those 4 hours. That is, those 4 hours can become nothing easily if you go back to your dorm - log on facebook - check your email - scan myspace - check some videos on hulu - check some stuff on youtube - maybe play a round of your favorite game, etc. Hope what I wrote helps.
