UCFKevin
Nah, you can't talk at a movie. How about going to a pool hall and play some pool/darts?

dyermaker
Wow, sounds to me like she's tryin to shake ya.
jenny
i'm all for imagination, but she just sounds flaky and annoying.
dyermaker
If some girl couldn't honestly tell me what it is that she wants to do, but made me play 20 questions to get it, I'd lose interest... fast. She's totally testing you... to see how much crap you'll put up with. Note the mention of her four year old, not the most attractive of assets in the singles world.
jenny
Note the mention of her four year old, not the most attractive of assets in the singles world. wow. i have to say i'm surprised by this from you. i think it's accurate, but i'm still surprised.
dyermaker
I didn't mean that there's something wrong with single mothers, and I completely sympathize with them. My own mother was one for a few years. However, when dating someone, if you are very interested, you would recognize that the average single male isn't mature or responsible enough to pursue a strong enough relationship to take on a child in addition to the woman. I know from my own mothers experiences that the process of telling a guy you are interested in about your child is pretty nerveracking, as you don't really want to lose any investment you had. The fact that she revealed it so nonchalantly suggests that she isn't interested in a relationship, and she's waiting for you to get fed up about it. That's all I meant, sorry if you were shocked. jenny
o, i see. i imagine it would be so tough. the women i work with say the same thing; they say it's much worse when the child is young. we're so off topic in this thread, but i actually think i am beginning to understand, a little bit, where your amazing maturity comes from.
