Mathias93
Hello all, Well, tomorrow is my birthday. 30 years young! As you might have seen from my previous posts, I have been having (like most of you) an awful time after breaking up with my girlfriend. She has been seeing her ex from before me. I am hoping that she will call me tomorrow or leave me a card. I left her a very nice one for her birthday in December. If I get a call, how do I act? She has called a few times and we spoke for 2 hours on New year's Eve even though I knew she had plans with him. I saw her New Year's Day for a few minutes and we hugged and held on to each other for a moment but after that, no contact. I have been VERY strict about not contacting her, she has done all of the calling. Any advice???
Nexa
Alright man, I don't know if you will like this answer but this is how I would handle it if I were you: If she does call be cordial but not like trying to spark anything with her again. You said that she had plans with "him", so I am assuming your ex has a man now right? So if this is true why do you want to be with her. The way I see it if the girl love you and wants to be with you she will get rid of him and try to work it with you. But I know when you care so much about someone that last thing you want to do is shut them out and you want to continue having a friendship, atleast that is me anyway. So just be cordial and say thankyou for calling you know you being mature about the whole situation. : )
RobertoPNW
Yes be cordial, thank her for calling, keep the conversation happy and SHORT. And, very important, you be the one to end the call. But be polite about it. Good luck.
