mimidarlin
The STBX is offering to let me beat him up. I've expressed my frustration with the fact that I am hurting so much and this isn't as difficult for him because he is doing the dumping. Would any of y'all take up this offer if you ex presented it to you?
Woggle
Don't do it. Just move on with your life and be happy without him. This might make you feel better for about two seconds but then it will be back to how you were.
Author mimidarlin
Woggle, I don't have any plans to take him up on it. I would risk to much. He could try to sue for abuse. It's the one spot of humor in this debacle. It's the fantasy of taking all of our emotional pain and inflicting it on them physically. Maybe divorce mediation should have one of those Sumo wrestler rings. We get in the inflatable suits and beat the crap out of each other without inflicting any real harm
JaneDoe35
Wii boxing helped me pretend I was beating my husband up. I am a small person but I can win everytime if I just imagine it is him......I am NOT a violent person at all!!!
LonelyTiger
I could never 'beat anybody up' but I understand the feeling. Vigorous exercise worked for me. I shed many a tear of anger, pain and frustration whilst working out - and, as far as I'm aware, nobody ever got sent to jail for being super fit! Author mimidarlin
Just so we're clear. I do not plan on taking him up on it. Again, I am trying to find humor. Could I beat up his Mii on my Wii? It looks so much like him it's shocking. The sumo wrestler ring is an idea for working out anger and frustration as an exercise that doesn't ultimately hurt anyone. I think many of us take out our anger or resentment in divorce court. My goal is to not poison my soul in this way. Exercise would be a great option. Unfortunately my health is not allowing heavy exertion right now. Hopefully my ovarian cyst will clear up by next week.

Would any of y'all take up this offer if you ex presented it to you? Maybe you could tell him you are going to do it... make an ass kicking date so to speak....tell him where to stand, how to stand etc...then get your hand all wrapped up with a towel, make a real show of it..then tell him to stand there, eyes closed and WAIT FOR IT.... after a long pause (and him squinting and bracing for it) tell him blandly, " I've decided to wait" Long pause again followed by: "You'll never see it coming" SUCKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PWSX3
Nope, I would rather show my ex spouse I'm moving on with my life, I think that would do more damage. Not one for fighting anyway....
