I'm curious to know if anyone has taken this as prescribed by a doctor and what the effects are if you "accidently" start drinking or end up taking other drugs with it (i.e.-illegal substances)? Jade 02 Posted March 5, 2010 Share Posted March 5, 2010 Vanilla mixing any kind of drugs,can be dangerous,but here is something that might ease you a little,I hope you are not mixing. my bestfriend is precsribed 100mcg fantenyl, 5 mg ocycode,clonezapam (6mgs a day),and3 hig blood pressure meds MGS ?,and methadone.. Now she got a hold of some adderal for energy and nothing happened to her. BUTT NO WAY!!!! DON'T TAKE MY WORD, AS EVERY BODY IS DIFFERENT. I DON'T EVEN THINK I SHOULD OF WROTE THIS,I WILL TELL YOU THIS SHE DOES HAVE LUNG PROBLEMS REAL BAD. DONT DO IT VANILLA PLEASE. Link to post Share on other sites

Jade I've been on ritallin when I was 8 years old and for some reason it ended up making me depressed as a kid. The complete opposite of what it should of done, which is to calm me and make me focus... but it made me very lazy, always tired, sad, and no motivation for anything at 8 years old... I'm just asking cause I'm curious as to what kind of side effects happen with different users who are prescribed legally this medication, not illegal users... but the kind I use is XRL 20 mLgs by capsules and if I take it after 10 am, I'll be up till almost 2am-3am... so that's why I'm asking... I may feel a little more awake, but not by much. I've come down over the years with my AD/HD and w/ or without the medication, I'm calm and laid back, actually without it, I'm too lazy in my opinion sometimes. Anyway, my point is that to get the energy, I usually have coffee about 20-30 mins after I've ingested the medication, then I feel awake, not before hand. If I'm beyond exhausted, I've been known to actually sleep even on the medication. So what you were trying to imply, again, is no where near what happens to me. I've never been a really hyper kid, just my energy was very scattered when it came to focusing on things like homework and school. It's more noticeable when I'm tired though... Well, no one accidentally starts drinking:cool: If you have a prescription- talk to your doc about the ramifications of mixing it with drugs or alcohol.
