Alright, I've read enough about women complaining that there men don't do anything but sit inside, watch porn etc. so I figured I'd talk about my fledgling hobby - running.

Ran my first 5K in 2008 in 22:11....eh

Ran my first 10K in 2009 in 49 min and some change.

First Half marathon 1:51 - kept a solid 8:20-ish pace for all 13.1 miles.

Finished my first full marathon, averaging about 10:30 per mile.

Anyone else out there going out and doing stuff? What are you doing? What are your achievements?

In six months, I've gained 14.5 lbs. Bite me. :p

According to your description of expecting, it makes sense.

Been putting in the mileage, despite some unseasonably cold weather. When it warms up, I'll be ready for some more waterborne activities.

I re-packed and lubed up the bearings and did some fine adjusting on my MT.Bike. I plan on riding more than ever this year to help the stress, plus it's really fun.

Exercise really is therapeutic, because you have a good sense to yourself that you are doing something good and the body feels great plus you sleep a lot better.

No Achievements per se....lets see

I'm a B level volleyball player. Won some intramural league (co-ed) but it's probably because my teammates were college level players and covered up for me a lot!

I am a decent badminton player, won a few local tournaments but I haven't played since like.....oh I dunno, ages !

I can say that I'm fit than most women and some men (is that an achievement?). I have zero desire to join marathon or triathlon but in my crossfit or kickboxing class, I can come ahead or outlast of some really fit guys or some local athletes when we did high intensity stuff (like abs crunches!)

OH, I recently won gold in Olympic fitness competition in my company, would that count? lol

Oh, I am this close to be able to do handstand pushups and I am targetting to do 100 consecutive push-ups (full military style) in hopefully a couple of months.

Why would I want to if youve gained fifteen pounds mommy

Okay, my real achievement is, maintaining decent shape, while pregnant, still working out 4 - 5 days a week but with reduced intensity.

There are both yoga and pilates exercises I don't want to risk and some that are just, plain uncomfortable, due to Bump. Also, with stairs, I'm doing less, cutting back on the speed I do them. Not worth the risk of falling down.
